Given our summer has not been too dissimilar to Blackpool's last year, with dramatic late changes to squad and staff, you can understand why we're seen in a similar light. Equally I fancy a lot of the other struggling sides around the league will look at that turmoil and think we're "always a gonner" this year too. I don't subscribe to that thought exactly, I've been impressed by Robinson, but you can objectively see why we appear to be right in the :censored:.

We already do - to some extent. We could be invasive (in post/thread adverts, large banner ads, etc.) but that's not really in the spirit of the community. And sadly the idea there's millions to be made from the few smaller ads we do carry is a misnomer, there's actually very little. Rummy did a breakdown of income from those things a while back - not sure where it is though.

Morning All, I know this is a tense time, that we need clear communication from the club to placate our concerns and lower everyone's blood pressure. But keep that in mind, we're all here for roughly the same reason and we all want what's best for the club, even if we don't agree with how we go about achieving that! That said - the Admin's do not have the time (or the patience) to clean threads of personal insults and as such any thread which contains them will simply be removed. We am not spending our mornings reading through 10 pages of conversation to find the half dozen posts where people couldn't act like adults and treat each other as such - we will just remove the whole thing. So please keep talking - it's evident that we need to work through this troubling time. However, be nice to each other when doing it! Thanks, The Admins

Most of these signings/sales/etc. come with an agreement on the announcement, akin to "neither will post it before 14:00" - for example, when I did it, Alan Hardy made me post it at 13:58 and then edit it at 14:00 to change the "posted time" and avoid whoever it was getting pissed off
