  1. If they are not making next year's third kit an approximation of the season ticket card's print, with a white kit having blue/tangerine faded wide-stripes on it... well they're doing it wrong.
  2. I did that maths (ish!) and they're hard to argue with in terms of improvement of result. I accept that to watch is entirely different. (Games 1-9 were Shez)
  3. You can if he struggles. We've not kicked a ball this season and last season, not saying I liked the look and feel, his results markedly improved over time. If that trajectory continues we'll be there or thereabouts this season. Yet for many he's on his last warning.
  4. I think I share both your concerns, that he's not quite got it right and could be found out this year, I really do. But equally, I can think that whilst I still accept that patience and understanding will be better for us long term. The problem with our past is plentiful and complex, but a huge part of it is pessimism, impatience, infighting, glorification of the distant past, etc. etc. etc. Does that mean DU should get forever if he's missing the mark...? No. Does that mean DU should get some positive thinking, forward looking, patient support...? Yes. I've said it on here so, so often - we have far more in common than in contrast and there's 98% mutual grey area which goes unseen or unsaid in place of the 1% opposite ends, who heckle from a distance like the only voices in the room. To be clear, unequivocally I am not saying that's you two as the people I quoted here. Just a summation of how things tend to be.
  5. I think that's valid/reasonable. It could be argued fairly that it took a while for DU to get things moving how he wanted (not how we wanted, maybe ) and that once he did the results improved.
  6. Broadly I do agree with you, but it's a bit rich to say... ...when we've literally not kicked a ball this season, and his 2023 form (not performances, I admit) is now literally the best in the league (the other two having buggered off to L2). I'm not a massive DU fan. I think generally he's going to play unlikable football and that's rough when things don't go right. That said, we'd have been third if his 2023 form had played out through the season - that's hard to get upset with, no matter how tactically iffy it is.
  7. But... why the hell do them in columns and not rows?! Surely that is massively inefficient?!

  9. Not calling it Latique is the most egregious thing any owner has ever done. Frank out!
  10. Stumbled upon the Commercial Opportunities PDF (here) and thought this page was especially interesting (and to me personally very agreeable)...
  11. He literally hits him in the face 10ft from the referee and whilst clearly being watched by the lino too. This should start almost exactly as he does it
  12. I don't really follow it, but isn't that what's been happening in Rugby Union? And I feel like broadly speaking it has gone terribly?
  13. With 'Read Receipt' turned on. And a passive aggressive 'Dear Sirs" opening gambit. They'll be shitting themselves.
  14. I was (am...?) never his biggest fan - but he literally didn't say that. He said they were required last year and this year they are not. They're not the go-to. But if there's someone worth getting in on loan we'll do it, as wanted as opposed to as needed. The two are not mutually exclusive though? If Wolves pay this kids salary and he gets to come gain some experience we may literally be getting him for nowt.
  15. As it stands we've as much evidence that Frank can be trusted as they do that their American owners can. Ultimately you just don't know people's intentions until they become clear. I think we can trust Frank, he seems genuine. I think they can trust Rob/Ryan, they seem genuine too. I am certain with enough effort, which I certainly don't have, we could find scores of clubs who've been fucked over by 'local' owners, down the years?
  16. I suppose life isn't a tautology for most people, he may have United leanings or affiliations too. I am sure, however, that he has a genuine affection for Latics and has expressed interest in being involved.
  17. It's not even called BT anymore. But, no, not yet.
  18. The Brad Pitt part is of course just him joking around on the telly. But he is a real fan, well connected, and I am told would be interested in being involved. He doesn't have the fuck-you money to do it alone, but I am certain (genuinely certain, not just internet speculation certain) he'd be interested in hearing from the club.

  20. What’s with the weird slightly National Front-y bulldog in the little Puma vignette?
  21. Lads - no one fucking cares. It's bland, childish bickering. If a 5 year old did it I would be disappointed in their immaturity. I've hidden some of it, I can't be arsed finding the rest of it. Just stop. Grow up. Or DM each other. Or meet up in person and just have a good rummage under the sheets, get the tension over and done with. But it stops here. You both post perfectly fine most of the time, but I will just ban you in the end - I'm far too lazy to go cleaning up threads these days. Please and thank you.
