I would be happy paying £308 for a season ticket,but unfortunately,because i am a resident of the chaddy,and have been for as many years as i care to remember,i have been shafted to the tune of £20! Onwards with Hardy's relocate to the Rocky policy!!!! Fecker......

I do find it quite strange that currently so many people have voted have voted the season to be a success! At best i think it has been very average,a couple of superb displays,then a mixture of good,mediocre,bad and downright rank! For me,the sooner we have next season's squad signed up and in training,the better!

Whilst not wanting to show Shez the door,i do believe that he has been unbelievably naive at times this season! while many will point to the fact that he is still a rookie manager,he has made the same mistakes again and again. If he can eliminate these mistakes next season,then i believe he can take us forward. Alternatively,should he continue to make some of the same decisions as this season has seen,i would imagine that we will be in no better a position in 12 months time. As for an alternative,i would be happy to see Alan Knill installed at BP.

Maybe next season will see him bring in a few naturally left footed players whom he can accommodate on the right.

Can i rephrase it then?drop Smalley because he is crap! He put in one good cross but for the most was looking ramarkably like a rabbit caught in the headlights. when playing alongside Leon his positional sense was woeful and after moving wide,which is a more natural position for him,he did not provide anything other than the one very good cross that i mentioned before!

We are a bloody long way off being a good team,even considering the lengthy injury list,if you are thinking that one or two additions to this squad will make us promotion contenders then you are seriously misguided.

Better still,get rid of Smalley altogether(cos he is useless)put Taylor on the right,Livermore left with Leon and Wolfy upfront.

If Sheridan did gesture to the crowd then he is in the wrong and desrves to be punished by the club,can't see why people feel the need to justify his actions.

When paying to watch the "football" played today,the moaning gits are perfectly entitled to have a moan as far as i am concerned.

Anyone think there is a remote possibility of being able to bring a proven striker in on loan,or am i living in cloud cuckoo land?

The posts by BB and Phibes here mirror my own feelings,i am not a serial moaner or Shez outer,i am just dismayed at the lack of decent(and i don't mean world beating) replacements for both the senior players who have been injured long term and the departures of the likes of KK and Ricketts etc. We have been told all season long that funds are available to sign "the right players"and yet we have not replaced at least three or four key players. In summary,when i am being constantly reminded how well our youngsters are developing,or that we should look forward to next season,i would rather much prefer our club to be making a sustained effort to strive for success during this current season. Sadly,the clud doesn't seem to be willing to make that effort,whether this being due to Shez or maybe any financial constraints placed on him! FRUSTRATING ISN'T IT!

Fantastic display from super Gaz,last few games he has been in great form but last night,and bearing in mind the abscence of Allot,he was awesome! No contest,this vote!

I wouldn't go as far as saying he is crap Derek,maybe naive in the extreme but some of the points you make are justified! i don't have a problem with him being on the left if,like you say he uses the space in front of him rather than running up his own bottom. As for Liddell,spot on there,he is far and away the best footballer at the club.

Hopefully this should be a cracking signing,subject to his fitness! Plenty of Vale fans were quick to call him a lazy so and so last season,but you can't argue with Leon's goals per game ratio!! Whilst the likes of Alessandra and Smalley have played well since coming into the team,with all due respect to the lads,they don't pose a great scoring threat! Now,at the business end of the season is when we need to be Both creating and putting away chances. Done your job today Shez

Unfortunately there is no place for sentiment in football today,what we need more than ever is to sign on loan a championship striker until the end of the season.After saying that,I would have been more than happy for Warney to have been retained at the end of last season,would have been a more than adequate member of the squad.

He would have been good enough to play for our club,but was never really given a chance through injury and competition for places. hope he does well for you! And rememeber,Don't tell em your name Pike
