Problem is, whoever comes in, knows they will probably be only in the nets for one game. Unless they have an absolute blinder and Sheridan decides to punish/rest Fleming.
I thinks it's a testament to Taylor's passion for the club. He probably thought, as he was tumbling down, that it was going to give us the edge. He was nearly bibbing, 'though.
Not much Fleming could do about it. It was a dreadful ball back to him from Maher and I think he was committed to going for it, the Leicester player (Fryatt I think) got there first and Fleming took his foot. He had to go.
This highlights the stupidity of not getting a back-up 'keeper in and if it wasn't for Windass, we would have lost. On saying that, we had a deffo penalty when Taylor was brought down and had more than a few chances afterwards.
Great result as I think we probably, as fans, expected to get beat if we're honest because Leicester are running away with it. Thought we played well all over the pitch and fully deserved to come away with the point. Three would have been brilliant, but I'm happy.
Problem now, is Fleming's ban for the Northampton match.
Is this the kit of the Hungarian club? Looks like Goulash to me.
Having been around for a relatively short time, compared to some of the oldies on here, I think the Fluo Yellow kit is my fave, having been won round following the initial shock of seeing it for the first time.
Didn't we have a black away kit? I'm sure it was ours, seemed quite nice.
I think he found himself in a place he never thought he would be, in terms of club and popularity. I hope the flag gets a prominent showing today.
Bless him.
Yeovil v Northampton (today) called off - it must be a mistake, they can't possibly know what the conditions will be like next week. Unless it's down to something else.
I was hoping a couple of tickets might be hidden in my Valentines Day card.
I know the aim HAS to be promotion, but, isn't the point of going to the football to actually enjoy the build-up, game, atmosphere, pies and basking in the glow of a win afterwards? I enjoy the whole thing, apart from initially having to sit on a cold seat.
Playoffs at best, Wembley in hope.
You'd better have plenty of money.
I'm using Vista, Firefox and Media Player 11 and it kicks off almost immediately after a few seconds of buffering.
Good, sensible interview and interesting about the link-up with the Hungarians. Does this mean Goulash on the menu in the club canteen?
My other half (to be) is a City fan and I laugh at him all the time! He reckons Richards is going nowhere and that City won't get relegated.
Silly boy!
Can we not just wait until he's actually been on? I, for one, would like all the goss from behind the closed doors.
We ask for transparency, then criticise them when they go public.
Hey!
Really, 'though, this is TYPICAL Latics. Two strikers out and then one goes missing! If we play 4-5-1 (and I bet we don't) then maybe it won't be so bad. If not and we have Windass and Alessandra up front from the off, who's sat on the bench to change the mix?
I hope this is just a ruse to unsettle Leicester.
It would be great if Scholes came here and we built our team around him. The mere fact would put loads of extra bums on seats. Maybe he would go to a Championship club, but, the persuasive power of a young member of the family should not be underestimated. His son is a Latics fan and what better present to give to him than playing for the team he supports?
Alright, maybe that last statement belongs in some mushy, American film. I can dream......
Dean, now you're using antagonism on a subliminal level. Let it go.
This might not be possible to answer, but, do we know exactly how much per hit and does this "per hit" count every time you navigate from one page to another or does it mean every time you link to the site from the outside? Does the same apply to OWTB?
Just asking, because it would be interesting to know how we, as fans, are contributing to the club.
Thank you.
