  1. That situation is unlikely to come about due to European labour laws. I for one will not be expecting The Micah money anytime soon or at all for that matter and neither will TTA who will be smart enough not to gamble our future on the premises that we will be getting Xmillion from from something which is completely out of our hands. This clause should be something that we should only ever see as a potential bonus and not something we should depend upon. I will wait and see what happens with City. These people just like TTA are not going to keep wanting to plunge huge sums of money bankrolling a football team that they had no previous conection with forever. Even Abramovich has set out that he wants chelsea to breakeven at some point. As someonesle has said I will wait until I see the likes of these players in City shirts before I believe everything that they are promising.
  2. Possibly cover at left back as we don't have anyone behind Lomax and I wouldn't want to see Taylor moved to Left back at all.
  3. So we are waiting for some balls to drop are we
  4. True but the BBC website has said that Thaksin is keen to retain a stake in the club anyway will see what happens. How many times before have we heard new owners coming making sweeping statements only to not follow up on what they have promised.
  5. Do you reckon city would actually want to cash in on their clause? If these owners are serious then they will see Richards as a player who is indespensible so why give us a million 2 million or whatever? Really with this one we aren't I believe in any position of strength to negotiate with them so It think we may have to leave it. Its very rare that you see a top player run down his contract now clubs are quite savy to this and have them tied down to a new deal or sold off a year before their contarct is due to expire. Anyway best wait to see how this takeover works out as even if it goes through Thaksin will very much be in the frame with city which could be a potential for conflict.
  6. What a load of rubbish what we should be doing is PANIC! PANIC! PANIC! We will now definately lose 8-0 at Colchester (eardley scoring 4 own goals) be relegated by chrismas be in administration by Febuary and Liquidated by May Their is no room for that kind of thoughtful perspective on this board.
  7. If Reuben Hazel makes you nervous god knows how you must have felt when the likes of Terrell Forbes or Guy Branston were wearing a blue shirt you must have been in pieces
  8. Re: Oldham Strip - has anyone mentioned it yet? Posted by: BarneyMcGrew (IP Logged) Date: 17 August, 2008 10:29 It wasnt good but the fact that John Sheridan and Tommy Wright out-thought us again was evenm more disturbing. I said when Wisey walked that these two could really do a job for us. They are very bright. I could see them back with us one day. I think this is the reason why we beat them
  9. Our current record wearing it isn't to shabby we haven't conceded a goal in open play wearing it yet
  10. Got a second yellow from a tackle a little later I think but I do remember that those there were privilaged to see Danny Boshells one moment of real aggression in a tic's Shirt.
  11. Seems to be alot involving Darren Sheridan Anyone remember that one at Scunthorpe in August 2003 1st round of the Carling\Worthington Cup whatever it was then 20 man Brawl started by Mini Shez which ended up with him and one of the scunthorpe players being sent off and then Boshell got sent off later.
  12. Bravo Jorvik would be the most sensible and constructive solutiuon to all this.
  13. This sounds like a big problem for the club at the moment with a 3 sided ground our disabled facilities are poor I hope that this won't be the case with the new stand and that it boasts first class disabled facilities not only that but we need to consider disabled facilities for away fans particularly in the RRE if we intend to continue using this as an away stand their will be many teams who will come to BP and have all their fans stood up e.g. Leeds. Hopefully this will be thought of when the developments take place. As for the people moaning about standing and swearing at the seats closest to the away fans If you don't like it perhaps you could go to Old Trafford or the COM and buy seats right next to the away fans. oh I forgot at every ground in the country their tends to be standing and swearing and taunting going on where home and away fans are closest.
  14. I'm with you on this one and I think the majority are I watched Sheridans reaction as Davies trudged off he didn't even look at him no doubt deserved dressing down will have been given.
  15. Aslong as they all kick the :censored: out of Chris Moore I couldn't care less Ive gone for Greagen to win though
  16. If people think that we should only give the small section they must either, not be very good at maths (9000 seats available saturday for home fans 4800 taken) or, Looking for trouble with Leeds fans because thats what will happen as if we only give them that small section, loads will stream into the home stands a recipe for disaster particularly if we are both challenging near the top. The police will never allow it. Having said that Leeds are the only team where fans will definately have to move. They might have to move for Leicester or Huddersfield but that will only be if they are both flying and we are near the top too. Can't exactly see us moving for Tranmere
  17. Got free of his man and just through his body at the ball it went in the far corner messy goal but definately his goal lets not forget you have to be in the position to make the chance. I will take plenty more like that this season.
  18. Spot on The large section of the RRE wasn't even half full today speaking as someone sat in the main stand. Leeds will be given the large section of the RRE minimum.
  19. I think the police might insist we do give them the large section because if not then they will be in the home ends. Plus the RRE wasn't even half full today.
  20. Read the Lee Hughes thread its hilarious that of all teams Millwall fans are trying to claim the moral high ground over this as if they have never ever ever done anything wrong ever. Im sure none of their fans have ever got behind a wheel pissed before or had any criminal convictions or that they were the first set of fans in donkeys years to be kept behind after the game. Or that their was any trouble after todays game and that it was my imagination when I saw all those Millwall fans trying to offer everyone outside after the game. Bunch of animals.
  21. I think I would give Hazel the benefit of the doubt today and I think shez will too. He was uncharacteristically woeful today but because of his performances so far in a blue shirt I don't think we should drop him just yet. I will reserve my judgement on maher but I would certainly start Whittaker in the next game really made a difference when he came on and possibly Hughes will come in although I would still have Davies and Hughes as my main strike partnership, Davies probably needs to improve on today he seemed to let his head go down a little bit.
  22. You missed our first two goals then? Had his best game since we beat Forrest 5-0 always looked a threat set up other opportunities too and played some excellent passes.
  23. So whats your prediction for that game Leeds 650 for 6 declared Latics 123 all out. If we can we need to loan warney back for that game hopefully the pitch will turn abit for him
