    The man has talked a big game through his relatively short career so far. But talk counts for nothing. His reputation is disintegrating week in week out. I can't help but take a bit of satisfaction out of his plight - even though I should probably rise above that. But I won't. Shez is 100 times the right manager for my club than he was.

    Ultimately I'd say international managers don't care about any clubs' plight. They'll just take who they want, if they can, when they want. They'll blather to the sport press but what they say won't mean much about what they think or how they operate.

    I can't believe that Gerrard is getting flack for that highly amusing belly flop... This is surely the most absurd criticism since... Ngoogate the other week.

    If he was or could be good enough I'm certain we would be in for him - as we'd be doubtlessly getting him on the cheap. I feel sorry for the lad - no doubt this whole thing disrupted his career. I'd like to see him get back on track, with us or elsewhere.

    I can never understand how people get so offended by stuff written on websites - you hear worse walking down the street every day of the week. It's just words on a forum - there are far worse things in the world to get upset about.

    All that is great to read. Surely more confidence in the squad now. Sheridan is working miracles as far as I can see. Massive result tonight. One I believe Sheridan can use to instill confidence and aggression. I think his kids will be getting Easter eggs - which is good news all round!
