I am going to get the front page of the sport section of the Sunday Times framed... Big huge picture of the goal celebrations and the headline SHOCK THERAPY... It's going to look lovely on my bedroom wall - and that's where it's going no matter what the girlfriend says!

I had more than a few beers at the time, but was that Lee Dixon being very nice and heaping lots of praise on Latics - including saying that Moyes didn't field a understrength team - on Match of The Day last night? I never liked Dixon - I still have a grudge since his antics got Rick Holden sent off at Boundary Park many moons ago - but a bit of praise for Latics has raised him in my estimation from very unlikeable to moderatly unlikeable!

Seeing as they've just gone a goal up, Manure in Old Trafford so we can have a right lash at them in their own back yard.

When I think of Sharp, the first thing that comes to mind is that miss at Wembley when we were one up against Manure... a moment recalled earlier in this thread by OAFCPROZAC. That miss still makes me feel ill... So I reckon him and his opinions are best avoided for the good of my health.

On Ricketts - if (when) he goes, does anybody have any idea how much he's cost us? The way I see it, we turned our season around as soon as he was out the door - which didn't take very long. Apart from the fact that it surprises me that other clubs would show any interest after he has burnt yet another bridge, I'm just wondering roughly how much the whole Ricketts thing will have set us back financially if we cut all ties with him in January...

One way our another, I better inject some steroids into my keyboard's F5 button - I love the excitement and suspence of impending signings but the poor old keaboard's nearly finished.

His goal against Manure - one of the highlights of all my years supporting the Latics... I was listening to it on BBC Radio 5 Live in my sittingroom in Galway - and the radio reception was rubbish and for some reason only seemed to improve when it was raining... Luckily, there was a heavydownpour when he scored (from an inswinging Paul Bernard corner?) and another one at the end of the match so I knew we hung on... I went nuts at the final whistle and banged my toe off the leg of the table - but I didn't feel the pain until the next day!

Tonight's is a victory to cherish - well done one and all.

I want Manure at Boundary Park... They go a goal up but in the last minute of injury time Hughes scores then Davies knocks in a winner... Scholes is spotted punching the air and Alex is p****d off but Scholes tells him to sod off and signs for Latics on the spot while back in Oldham council they realise the error of their ways and give the redevelopment of BP the thumbs up while Bashforth moves to Tranmere... I don't mind who we get in the round after that...

Less than 4000 on a Saturday is a bit of a shocker but I feel we are about to go on a bit of a run so a few more top corner screamers should put a fair few more bums on seats by mid January - which is when I will have my flight from Dublin to Manchester booked so that's one extra seat filled anyway!

No doubt it's my first trip to Boundary Park - a 3-3 draw with Coventry in the top flight... Andy Richie played an amazing game and set up a goal and scored a penalty in front of the Chaddy end... I'll never forget it.

My sympathy to you and yours sir... I am sure your uncle - RIP - is proud to have a nephew doing so much good work with so many good people for club and community.

The best thing about the email campaign is that it only takes a few seconds to write one up and send one off - and it must be causing headaches for the councillors...
