    I don't know, I feel quietly optimistic about this one although my preparation for bitter disappointment is standing by. Let's face it, the game is winnable and if the Shyster fucks this one up, the fans will let their feelings be known, that's the one thing we can count on.

    On this point alone, I agree. Reid must be fucking seething, probably promised the earth and now sat on the bench because the striker Unsworth wanted finally decided to jump a sinking ship. The firepower the team has is not inconsiderable for this league yet somehow, they can't buy a decent run of results.

    I don't think losing the coaching staff would be a bad thing, considering the sterling job they have done apparently coaching the playing ability out of the club's recent, decent recruits.

    I get your sentiment but the team from which Unsworth is currently draining the ability to actually play football, is totally different from the team Sheridan put out. Sheridan was not the answer, he had to go and the whole management side of things appears to have been a total fuck-up.

    Apologies if this has already been posted... Barton Rant over Unsworth It's five years old but extremely relevant and quite funny. Barton says it as it is.

    I can't believe he played one up front after all the spouting he has done re: formation and having avidly kept an eye on Reid. Nuttall is available for the next game and if he doesn't play Reid and Nuttall up front then he risks coming across as a pathological liar, therefore he should go immediately and let's get someone in who isn't schizophrenic.

    Frank and the board may already be asking those questions of Unsworth, something which we will never be privy to. I thought Tollitt is our top scorer?

    It's his money but, do you think it's a case of too many players or not the right ones? I envisage quite a few leaving or out on loan [whoever will have them] and hopefully, Unsworth playing two up front because if he doesn't, then can he please leave immediately! Unfortunately, we will have to wait to see what Nuttall can do. Will that be the Gateshead game?
