30 years ago, we were in Div 2, it wasn't until 90/91 that we got promoted...so he didn't exactly start when we were "on the rise". In fact, if you count the "Pinch Me Season", promotion and three short years in the top flight, then 5 out of 30 years ain't much to write home about.

The TTA don't have the finances to deliver the dream at BP, the council haven't got the resources to help out local sport and the town of Oldham, in the light of other towns in the Northwest, is fast becoming a deprived area.
