I assume Rooney was signed for his finishing ability rather than his all round gameplay. I guess it is up to us whether or not we want to be patient to see if he can get back on form. Is he our top scorer still?

Not really surprised we are having a wobble considering we have recently had to sack a senior player for spot fixing. There was one bad egg in the squad and for all we know there maybe more. Up to LJ to sort it out and move out the players like this and replace them with ones that want to work in his system. The main worry for me is that he wants to ship on players he has recently signed. I remember him saying all his signings would be well researched to minimise these issues. SheZ was a master of this and many of these players then went on to bigger and better, I hope LJ can have a bit more faith in himself to get the best out of players he has brought to the club.

I thought warnock was an excellent pundit very unbiased. Couldn't stand the commentator though I hate these trivia based football anarak style ones that seem to be popular at the moment.

We should also remember we as a club and set of fans gave often been hasty to write off strikers who have gone on to have very good careers and good transfer fees. He may not be living up to expectations but he still has 7 goals and there is plenty of time left for things to get better. There is a severe lack of patience in football these days.

I think you are wrong on this one, yes we get awful decisions but so do all the other teams, I've seen more than enough dodgy stuff go in out favour and at other matches not involving latics to know it's not just us. Against Bradford our commentary team were stunned that they didn't get a pen and that Plummer didn't get a second yellow so there is 2 recent decisions that have gone our way just off the top of my head. Yes it's annoying but don't let it question why you go. It's an inevitable part of the game that refs will call things wrong I'm afraid.

Maybe a good idea for them I would expect the hardcore supporters of a club that size to always go and it might tie in a few others to attend more games

BP I have enjoyed reading your analysis over the years on here but I definitely detect a bit of extra disliking for LJ this season or am I reading too much into it;)

There isn't half some over reactions in here. If the logic used by some of you was true we would never have beaten Notts Forest or Liverpool or drew with Everton. It's the cup upsets happen we used a lot of our luck last season. Start worrying and becoming devastated if we collapse in the league!

Do you really think he is going to be suing prozac though when there is video evidence of him admitting to the offense in the public domain. There is being careful and then there is being over the top.

Personally think it could be a good thing getting a group of loan players from one team who already know each other. Would work out better if they all came at once though during preseason on season long loans. Of course this would all depend on the players actually being any good, City must have some decent up and coming players for our level.

IMO the club should switch the home ends. I am sure in the long run better facilities could only have a positive impact on our crowds, especially if coupled with good football negating the impact of loosing a few stubborn traditionalists.

Out of those three I think Mellor has shown he is the most capable. Just needs a regular position and games. I think Winchester is a very talented footballer but not sure if he really wants to step up or if he just doesn't have the physical or mental strength to make it. I can imagine he is the kind of player that we would release who would then go on to have a good career elsewhere though. Not sure about Millar.

You could tell from listening he was a good ref as the game was allowed to flow for long periods of time. The commentators thought he was very lenient on Plummer. I'm surprised some people saying Jones was not good for them, sounded like he was one of Bradford's most involved players along with Reid, Wells and Hanson. Must have been a good game as I listened to the commentary properly for once.
