Hey expats, quick update, managed to get through to someone at the Football League and apparently an overseas digital league pass is in development allowing access to longer or full match highlights but sadly not for this season. I guess watch this space, they didnt actually give an indication of exactly when this will be implemented. Edit to say I think the crappy highlights on offer at the moment from the clubs is due to the current UK rights contract with Sky

If it makes you feel better I haven't had a season ticket since the Penney season but still got to over half the home games each season. During dickovs reign I went nearly a year or possibly a year without seeing us win in the league

Agree with everything midsblue says it would be stupid to turn down the offer of potentially good players. Also would add a bit of continuity loaning players from one club rather than all over the place. I cn understand people's problem with too many loans but three or four together is much better IMO. If you get them for a season it's not really any different to having someone permanent ona one year contract.

funny how people see it, from reading on here I thought people were probably being harsh on him as usual but it looked a bad mistake. Two mistakes have cost us a point by the looks of it which is a shame.

I would expect furman to be doing well thought he got a lot more grief than he deserved towards the end of his time at Latics. Much better than wes, even when not playing well he was always looking for and wanting the ball

Why is Johnson not giving Mellor a run in front of the back four this season.? I'm not in the UK so have only seen us vs Preston on the tele but I thought Mellor in midfield played a big role in us staying up!

The only muppet here is you, just because people want to give the manager time doesn't mean we are not disappointed. I was happy to give dickov 2 and a half seasons to try and get it right and will be happy to give LJ the same unless we are in danger of getting cut adrift.

Even if this is a true story I would fully expect some of their lads to be technically as good as some of ours. You need more than technique to be a professional footballer though.

Taylor is ace. Think he went a bit stale towards the end of his tim here and he deserved his move higher up to test himself. As soon as he was gone you could really see how much of a big player he was for our team. Always got rave reviews from the opposition fans too.

Bring back the Rugrats theme when the away team come out after half time too!

I think it is more people know he can be a good player from when he first arrived and we wasn't delivering this last year or at the start of this. I had concerns that it could be his shoulder problems holding him back hence I didn't care too much about him going. If he is back to his best now then it can only be a plus point, don't think people will be getting on his back.

If it is Mills' last game then I would be giving Montano the match practice but otherwise agree at keeping the same line up.

Fair point but the term giant killing does not focus on the size of the club it is used to describe lower league teams knocking out higher positioned opponents. Apart from the very top and very bottom the rest of the teams will switch places over time. There is absolutely nothing sad about being pleased with the performance against the unbeaten league leaders in league 1. Size of club has absolutely nothing to do with league form. If it did on our crowds we would be in the basement by now I am sure.

If Eyres is on there Sheridan has to be surely? Sheridan played with his dodgy knees in our hour of need and then managed us including getting us into the play offs.

But that is a strange way to justify our level. When I started going regularly we had just dropped into league 1 and we are still here now so we are at the right level. My first game saw us beat qpr in the top division actually maybe this is the right level?
