Some fantastic view from real Latics fanatics - just proves we aren't a Bolton/Blackburn who suddenly get a few fans with success, we have a die-hard following that remember when things weren't so good. We all share the same passion and love for the Latics and always will - we will show our support every game we go to and the next - I am proud to be a Tic and proud of the majority of our supporters - even the moaners have their place in history!

I go to BP to shout me head off - I am not in a punk band so no release there, I cannot shout me head of in the streets as I would get arrested - so I go to BP to shout me head off - I can understand other people not enjoying shouting their head off like me - I don't care - I will continue to shout me head off - if there are other people with the same inclination - even better - if not so be it.

Started watching Tics when I were about 12/13 in the 82/83 season. We played Shrewsbury at home first game of the season in front of just over 3,000 - we won 1-0. We had some average players but to me they were all legends - they played for Latics for Christ's sake course they were legends! Hoolickin, Clements, Henry (T), Steel, Wylde Sinclair, McDonough, Ryan, Atkinson - I worshipped these guys. Not coz they were great, coz they played for Latics! I worshipped these players, the players that played in the Premiership, the players we have now - coz they represent the team I love and will love them forever. Win or lose have a booze (or in the early days have a carton of orange juice and packet of garibaldis)

Didn't think it was that bad on Satdi. Seems though only the right side can be bothered tough. Every time I am on me toes shouting me head off, I look across and it is only up to about the halfway point in the Chaddy End people are bothering. Don't understand it really. Think at times we were really loud, fuelled by that absolute joke of a ref - these people are robbing us - we pay money to watch football and these guys turn up every week spoiling the enjoyment -we should sue! Me and me mates give it 100%, the main group of lads at the side of us give it their all - we just need more factions to be arsed!

Why would he need to play in a 4-5-1? 4-4-2 is the answer, it's the way we have brought up to play. That's why we have been good in the last 2 matches. 2 wingers, big man/small man combo up front. I really thought Owen was gonna struggle after his last injury but he has come back and looks back to his best which is fantasticv news for Engerland and the Toon Army. Sheer class! Don't think he would be starting for us though, good option to come on for us for the last 20 minutes and nab us one!

When we score I cannot control myself to join in on a song - I just run to the front and jump around like a loony - bvgger standing there and singing!

Owen is a class striker. That goal on Satdi were top. But not just then. Remember that Argentina game when he did nowt for 85 minutes and scored two at the death to win it for us. That what he does, that is why he is a class act.
