  1. I so want Tounkara to work............ I think if he bags another he will get 20!. Listen to your Dad! He is rank......
  2. "I'm pretty disappointed with that tbh, despite loads of pressure Brill still made the more telling saves, our shots were mainly off-target pot-shots - Stephens sneaky free-kick aside. We created sod all in the box and our crossing was pisspoor. That's two weeks on the trot we have been thankful to Brill for us gaining a point." That summs it up for me as well. Troubl;e is we didn't create one clear goal attemp, plenty of long range shots, plenty of long crosses, plenty of near misses but I never saw one clever pass that put either the donkey or the Irishman through on goal. Tunkare is pants. Oh for Viv Halom, Jim Fryatt or Frankie Bunn.
  3. Did Purdie appear, play or was he again absent?
  4. MVoto had a good game. Our forward line was very very poor, Stephnes and furman both stayed way too deep and never really made any chances for the front men. Bembo is too small to play up front, in fact, I think that he is just too small. Smalley ...get rid. Taylor...try to get rid. We have too many non-league players.
  5. I didn't renew my season ticket this year partly for that reason. Behind where I sat where two old women from Saddleworth. How did I know this? Well when times got boring, they talked endlessly about their homes, their gardners, their knitting (I kid you not) and whenver they commented on the match is was an uneducated rant at whoever last touched the ball. The club do worse than putting at least 50% on OAP's season ticket charges to get rid of 'em all.
  6. Seen him once and watched the video and he looks competent but average. Now if it was Andy Ritchie from Leeds, or Kenny Clements or Roger Palmer from City..... then perhaps.... Persuade me his is any better than Holdsworth please?????
  7. I am not happy at the Official Web Site Headline:- "Stanley Knife Latics" I might be being a bit picky but the choice of words and the image it creates is not a wholesome one!
  8. Yes, he needs games.. much prefer him to the other choices and I wouldn't pay Touncara (or whatever) in washers.
  9. Very poor prformance. Brill isn't a goalie and our Wonderful Centre forward from Sunderland is gash. Nothing up front. Nothing in midfield. Defence was OK. Dreary match.
  10. So can every owner not only in Football but also in Business.
  11. I would expect that the Charity decision is just about rubber stamped. I can hear John Arnold now flicking though pages of legal docs salivating at the next move. There is not a long way next but I fear yet more legal moves by just a few nimbys.
  12. I just tried it and it works. I clicked oin the 2nd tab in after Home headed News. There is a grainy picture if the kiids - click it. There is then a blankish page with a smallish screen viewer mid right with an arrow facing right on it - click that and it plays.
  13. They look like local kids out for a stroll and it all went wrong. They will be recognised very quickly. One looks like a young Ginger Winger!
  14. Trouble is if they catch them, will they receive a fine that will cover the cost? Not a chance.
  15. Is that Hughes wasn't part of the Notts C squad today. Injured or dropped?
  16. I have recently set up a standing order and wrote to Trust Oldham on the 13th Aug but have not heard anything. It would have been nice for an acknowledgment. I am already having the first feelings that perhaps after the early noise from Barry the whole scheme has nosedived. Or am I wrong?
  17. I deleted all of my cookies and then it let me in..whether it was time or cookies who knows? Frustrating all the same.
  18. I just wish the title had said Dickov signs a little Dik.....
  19. I left the game at 5-0 down. Burnley had a young commited side out. We looked badly organised and slightly disinterested. Smalley and Taylor as joint centre forwards both ran a lot both got caught offside for just about every single through ball. Purdie didn't play (I thnk) and you can forget the rest. Greagan is still a good stone overweight, closer to the pace but he has more or less zero pace. If he misses the ball...forget running back. The Burnley fans were mongs of the highest order, all in their 60's and agressive. They really did point at planes a lot.
  20. And if they are flogging it in Middleton a lot of those folk may well support both clubs. It will be interesting when we play them and beat them 15-0 will they write two reports once saying how bad Dale are and one saying they were unlucky.
  21. The long term future of the club is more important.. sell him. We have Kirk Miller coming through...
  22. Last season we played Leeds at home in the FA Cup. I was narked that I had ordered my tickets online to find I then had to pick them up at the club. I contacted AH to vent my annoyance.. and guess whast he did? He took my address and on his way home he dropped them off at my front door! Can anyone else think of a single football CEO who would do that?
  23. Why don't the club seek to use the Bridgewater Pub as a good day out? Yooffs and then the First team. The Landlord is an ex-Latics supporter who suddenly became a City fan last year. He would love Latics fans in his pub to challenge his road to Damascus change.
