  1. We dont have any strikers othe than Reid that have scored anywhere near 20 goals a season . With the exception of Porter who is out and more than likely will never play for us again. Abrahams is on loan, Luamba needs to go on loan. And it appears Fondop as big and strong as he is cant handle two games a week . Or stay fit for one game and has never been prolific . So I can see why signing further forward additions is part of the rebuilding plan . Yes the squad is bloated with players who should not be here , I expect quite a few to be gone by whatever means in January .Hopefully Rooney scoring yesterday will kick start him and we can play him in his best position . We still have work to do in midfield and need another quality addition or two depending on what is happening with the the loan players in that area.
  2. “We’re at the stage now where I want to get a settled team and a settled way of playing which suits the players we’ve got.”
  3. Good news BP congratulations , really happy your considerable experience is being used . I wish you all the best and hope you find us a few gems . From what I have been told I am also in the Regan Linney camp has to be worth at least a trial.
  4. 3 IN 27 since he left us tells me not, Luamba has 2 in 27 and Stobbs 2 in 28 . McAleney is also another crock.
  5. What we have are a few people who have periodically had a few bursts of scoring that gives them a 1 in 4 record . We need at least 1 player with a 1 in 2 record . Agree about the midfield and sure it is also a priority.
  6. If somebody would have put Kitchens crosses into the box away we would have been 2 up at half time , I do agree though we need some variation in midfield.
  7. Wonder if we will sign a goalscorer this week something we have needed since the start of the season.
  8. We have always had a small minority who whinge and moan like f*** at every little thing .This board is becoming real negative despite all the good things happening at the club. Really is unbelievable , we were almost Bury MK2 4 days from oblivion . We are in the National League on merit because we have had conesecutive crap owners who ran the club into the ground. There is no easy fix its going to take some time and no amount of moaning is going to help. The squad is not best by a long way and is top heavy on defenders ,and no midfield options .Which is the major factor on Unsworths tactics. He cant change much most of the players are the same type , and the bench is never going to change a game much at the moment. Also one other factor is there is a shortage of players available which is probably one reason for a lot of loans . And I also suspect the board wanted to have a recruitment process set up as we have seen this week, before they opt for more permanent transfers. Think we all need to calm down realise where we are , be thankfull we have good people in place doing there best . Show a bit more patience , we will be in a far better position in 12 months time .
  9. Thought Rogers was ok here , but he comes across as real thick in that interview.
  10. In awe of your mental capacity to remember one of the most inconsequential players ever.
  11. Is this the Oh When The Blues forum or Oh We Talk Bollocks forum. Just asking after a very positive week.
  12. Really interesting thanks for posting Craig. Good luck for the rest of the season.
  13. Bet Jack Byrne is happy lol https://www.bbc.com/sport/football/55556544
  14. Running out of patience now . The mythical bigger budget appears to be another lie . In 50 years I don't think I have seen a bigger cluster fck than this current set up. Cant see where our first goal is coming from let alone point .We must be favourites for relegation , and probably in the quickest time ever. We need a minimum 4 first team starters maybe 6 . Hope I am wrong but very depressing.
