  1. There seems like too many games in the capital for the police to be happy with it for me. It's a pain in the arse not knowing for sure. Millwall v Hull City Fulham v Oldham Chelsea v Nottingham Forest Brentford v Oxford United Crystal Palace v Grimsby West Ham v Birmingham All still scheduled to kick off at 3 on the Saturday as things stand - absolute carnage if you ask me as there is bound to be some large firms out that day.
  2. Ironically the TV bosses were criticised heavily for showing the Manure v Reading fixture two seasons ago and left them off the schedule last season versus Derby County for the first time in years. All about the viewing figures unfortunately and whether you hate them or loathe them they will pull the biggest audience.
  3. Interesting article on Neil Etheridge an ever present in the PL for Cardiff this season, he was on £200 a week during his stay with us which is embarrassing really given where he's ended up. https://oddschanger.com/uncategorized/from-earning-200-a-week-in-league-one-to-the-premier-league-how-neil-etheridges-career-nearly-came-to-an-end-after-fulham
  4. Not at Northampton we didn't or the last eight games for that matter.
  5. All about Jack again then is it, no suggestion but a recurring theme don't you think. One things for sure he's running out of options which is sad in itself, could well end up somewhere like Salford who I've been told are spending some dosh in January and are in the market for a couple of midfielders.
  6. Is he out of contract at the end of this season? I'd like to think the club may well offer him some sort of deal to extend for another season? I'd like to think he'd be looked after by the club. His forms not been the best recently but for me he's always give his best without rocking the boat and still has a young family to support.
  7. More money will be made from it than the other option of playing MK fakes on the same day, I'm happy just being in the third round draw for the first time in years away at a ground I've not visited for some time, it would of been nice to have pulled a big one out but in the grand scheme of things it could also be a lot worse.
  8. Nearer to none than slim then Only reason we could be moved would be on police advice, suppose we'll find out Thursday either way.
  9. I'd say it's slim rather than none, do they do the Sunday 2pm feed on BBC?
  10. If we drew a big team away we have to agree to any ticket price reduction it isn't solely the decision of the home team, as the away team we are well within our rights to make them charge the normal full price for the game which is what most teams drawn away to the likes of Manure and Arsenal do, it means we will have to pay about £40 but thats a decent price to pay when your on about 40% of 70,000 tickets.
  11. Whichever way you look at it we are an injury or two from struggling to put out an 11 without throwing the kids in, to say it's only the start of December is a big worry, for me I wouldn't be risking Clarke, Edmondson, Missilou, Nepo, Surridge, Lang or Maouche against Dale as the League game on Saturday needs to be the priority especially if we get a lucrative draw tomorrow, we just can't afford to lose any more key players before the window opens, it begs the question whether they need some extra time off given what they are putting into games and the amount of time they are spending on the road, I'm fucked just going watching them and it could be that all the effort and amount of games are having an effect on our squad fitness levels and durability.
  12. Wellens still working his magic at home to Woking, pitch looks rough though to be fair.
  13. You could argue we'd be rid of TTA's if the OEC hadn't been built or we could still be having our pants pulled down by Corney either way for me the OEC has created more problems than its solved.
  14. To be fair I thought they created a decent atmosphere yesterday, put plenty of League teams to shame that's for sure. Really enjoyable game yesterday which we controlled and never really looked in any danger, Surridge not quite firing yet but I thought the defence was very solid particularly Clarke, Dummigan and Hunt both had their best games for a while and players are really giving their all for the cause, roll on Monday where we can either pull out a winnable game at home or a big pay day at a new ground.
