  1. I think all three games are free to air on Sky One today if you have a Sky package without the Sports.
  2. I've never seen him get any stick at games so unless he's a regular on here which I can't see he must be referring to the Faceache or Twatter crowd, he divides opinion ability wise as do most of our players but I'd say there's no real malice on either side, I like the humour in the post and I don't think it's been delivered in a nasty vindictive way at all, nothing to see here.
  3. Admit it you've been waiting months to unleash that one Bosh Most improved player for me and is becoming a saleable asset.
  4. If the scout from Preston was in attendance on Saturday he'd of been more impressed with Stockley than any of our players and I include Surridge in that.
  5. Very true, Giles Coke who was hobbling around at Curzon in pre season with an obvious leg injury must of thought all his Christmas's had come at once when we somehow offered him a two year deal - does he even have any interest in being a footballer because he's not shown it whist he's been with us.
  6. If Surridge goes we are fucked, as demonstrated by his time out of the team earlier in the season.
  7. I felt he played well yesterday, not sure what he did wrong tbh, certainly improved on his early season form.
  8. Law seemed to find another gear fitness wise in the last 15, other than sacrificing Missilou to mark him I'm not sure what more we could of done given the players at our disposal, the young lad who came on on the left for them was pretty decent too, got in behind us numerous times and was also strong as an ox defensively, looking back they had some good players and you can see why on their day they will give anyone in this League a good game, draw would of been a fair result but at least we are creating and playing some decent football, all we have to do is add a bit of consistency to our performances and we will be in and around the playoffs.
  9. The pitch certainly didn't help the ball players like Maouche yesterday, after some real heavy rain in the area over the past couple of days it cut up quite bad yesterday.
  10. Pretty good summary for me, Iverson for all the positives will not come and claim a ball in the air and we've been done a few times from corners that he should of dealt with, no doubt he's won us more points than he's lost but he's a big unit and needs to be bossing those situations, teams have watched him and every set piece seems to be swung in to their big guys who seem to go unchallenged a lot of the time. I'd also like to see Lang up top in fact I'd of been tempted to bring Branger on out wide yesterday instead of Miller and push Lang up top as Exeter seemed to struggle with him at times. Definitely need a Nicky Law type in there though who was the best midfielder on the pitch again yesterday like he was in the Bradford games last season. If we have him for Maouche yesterday we win that game easily.
  11. He was immense today and unfortunately we couldn't cope with his physicality and movement, shame he felt the need to fall over whenever he was breathed on because he was more than capable of mixing it with our back four but I suppose that's the way the games going unfortunately.
  12. Only time he really bollocked him was when he looked to put Surridge in through the middle instead of moving it out wide to Hamer who was in acres of space - and rightly so, Maouche was tired as were Hamer and O'Grady so Bunn had little choice in my opinion, your going to get days like that in this league and this group have been playing a high pressing intense game in recent weeks so its going to show in performances through fatigue from time to time, few days off and they have to go again. We were unlucky today we dominated large parts of the game but are a little naive and need to get more streetwise, too much overplaying when we went one up and then 2-1 up and O'Grady really should of doubled the lead and totally missed the target from a few yards out, Surridge also guilty of missing good chances and also shooting when Miller is square for the tap in, we learn move on and go again.
  13. Totally agree, sort of player we are desperate for.
  14. Maouche did well for half hour then faded, Surridge scored a good goal but made poor decisions, Missilou was very good, Iverson won't claim a cross and is rooted to his line, thought Hunt played well, Hamer poor and poor defensively, backed off them all afternoon and Stockley ran the game, quality player but shithousery out of the top drawer, Lang ran his socks off and Miller did little when he came on, as for the ref what did we do to piss him off he gave us absolutely fuck all but in all truth we beat ourselves today, their first goal come from a corner that I'm pretty sure should of been our goal kick did anyone get a better view than me and see one of our players get a touch? It looked like it went over everyone and straight out to me.
  15. Midfield would be my priority, someone like Perkins who can run a game and at least one new wide man. Happy with the defence and our striker options are pretty decent now O'Grady has found some forms to add to Surridge, Lang and Miller, think Bunn prefers to have a tight knit group so I'd say we may only see two maybe three signings in January, quality over quantity needed for me if we are to push on in the second half of the season.
  16. True but the bench is getting stronger.
