  1. Slightly off-topic so apologies, but 4 of the last 5 home games are derbies or as good as, so we should get big crowds (for us!). Nice end to the season for the cash flow. I can see it now.......miracle worker Shez goes to SC amid the end of season euphoria, survival achieved, and asks for more money to strengthen the squad for next season. What can possibly go wrong?
  2. Erwin rockets to 2nd place in our list of league goal scorers, with 3 for the season.
  3. LEE ERWIN!!!! Unbelievable Jeff!!! Two strikers in one game!!
  4. Why don't we all trust the manager's judgement, and hope we can keep this lead!!
  5. I would have taken a point before kick-off given the respective league positions. Given Ripley's heroics, I'm definitely happy with a point despite other results.
  6. I forgot to add, Taylor was disappointing I thought yesterday. On that showing he seems short of pace and a shadow of his former self but maybe he is lacking match practice?
  7. Dragged a couple of my neighbours along, I think they're still speaking to me. To be fair second half wasn't bad, but I don't remember us working their keeper once! The referee was a joke, why we got the early booking was a complete mystery. The pitch was magnificent, puts ours to shame. Pity the football didn't match it! Holloway MOTM for me, great effort yesterday and his attitude is spot on. Very worrying the way Swindon seemed at times to walk through our midfield, they had far too much space. Near the end one of their players even had time to turn in the box and get a shot away. Luckily for us their shooting was very poor all match. Superb block at the death by Clarke, was it? Heroic stuff. I'd like to think we'll climb away from trouble gradually like last season, but the lack of a reasonably decent striker in this team is the Achilles heel, I can see it going to the last match this time.
  8. Cheers to you too sweetie. I love both as it happens. What I don't like to see are pitch invasions and the possibility of a fine or even a points deduction for our cash-strapped, points-strapped club. If you think running on to the pitch helps in either case then you need help.
  9. Yes of course, given that we are flush with cash. What a ridiculous comment.
  10. No almost about it. They asked, we said no. What's your problem?
  11. Time - he flexes like a whore Falls like Suarez to the floor.......
  12. A bit off message I know, but "public chicken emporium".... love it !
  13. Wash your mouth out, then when you get to the ticket office to claim your refund have the grace to apologise.
