  1. For me if the Flag Owner is from Northern Ireland and wants to display his support for Latics on what is the official flag for Northern Ireland then fair play Personally I think the F*%k ISIS is unnecessary as there cant be a single football fan in the UK that feels anything other than pure contempt for ISIS Most Clubs will simply not allow it into their Stadiums
  2. Football Shirts with a collar are awful !! Home Shirt MUST be Blue & White Away Shirt for me would be preferably White & Blue (as is) or if not, Tangerine can be the only other option
  3. Headline states the Club say it has already been paid Is it me, or wouldn't a copy Bank Statement showing the payment transaction to HMRC resolve this
  4. Fair play, particularly praising our Away Support
  5. Losing SheffU Bolton and hopefully Millwall Gaining Rotherham Wigan and highly likely Blackburn Rovers "Cant smile wide enough", Ba%&a£d Rovers sinking into League One What's not to like
  6. Sorry Underdog but your last post on your £150 donation for a limited edition signed Liverpool/OAFC print, "so limited edition it is, the Club have not been able to locate it for 10 months" proper made me chuckle Rubbish way for our Club to treat one of our own though
  7. oafcprozac Must have read your post twenty times about your Dad Eyes filled up every time
  8. Quite a few posts on this thread trying to voice that our Club doesn't seem to have tried at all to reward loyal supporters or attempt to try and attract 'wavering supporters' or indeed any new young support with an attractive Season Ticket offer That's despite having a number of Board Members who work in Marketing ! Quite a few OWTB Members who appear to be clinging on to their views that no matter what, we will never attract more support than we currently have so what's the point in trying A strategy of not bothering to stimulate customers in an ever decreasing number of supporters is partly one of the reasons we find ourselves were we are
  9. The Rochdale season ticket promotion looks to have had some thought behind it, unlike our own Looks like we have a 'real trial' on our doorstep of competitive prices linked to supporter take up
  10. 'View of Golden Gate' has got it spot on regarding the total lack of marketing creativity for the launch of our Season Ticket A school leaver could have delivered this better Biggest opportunity we have to recognise our loyal season ticket holders and attract both wavering fans and new, particularly younger supporters for the future Very poor effort
  11. Who seriously wants to be in a Home End called 'the ROCHDALE Road Stand' !! However, clearly its in better condition than the Chaddy End so should be for Home Fans and it easily caters for our Family Section Sign it up as 'The Jimmy Frizzell Stand' and make sure we never move our Home Fans from it no matter who we are playing Our demise in recent years has got us to the point that we're moving Home Fans v 'Local Rivals' God Forbid we ever have to do it for the visit of Bury or Rochdale
  12. Monty Burns You will not find a single comment in which I have applauded or criticised the years of ownership under our current owners I have however, complimented that NNN and our fellow Supporters meeting with the Club, gave clarity regarding how the Club is funded and how it is performing financially. Furthermore, the meeting confirmed not only the specific interests of Brass Bank Ltd (Land Ownership and The North Stand) and The Oldham Event Centre Ltd (Non Match Day revenue) but additionally historical investment from Brass Bank Ltd as c£22m. Ownership of these Companies is of course available from Companies House but the meeting notes recorded financial information that is not easily extracted from statutory records. In short, my opinion at this time is that we are most certainly better advised than before the meeting took place
  13. Well for me, NNN and the other Supporters who attended the meeting did a great job of obtaining the information they did about the Club and to be honest I thought fair play to the Club for providing the information and allowing it to be published on OWTB Gave a clearer picture of the financial position of our Club
  14. I thought the 'notes from the meeting' on the 24th Jan posted as the start of this thread was the most comprehensive information regarding the running of our Club that I have ever seen It was also the first of more such meetings was my understanding
  15. It was confirmed by nnn and fellow supporters at the recent meeting that OAFC 2004 Ltd only get match day revenues (notes 24/01/2017) Brass Bank Ltd and Oldham Event Centre Ltd get 'non match day' revenues I would hope that OAFC 2004 Ltd would resist any attempt to use Boundary Park for any such events to ensure the playing surface is not put at risk of deteriorating further.
  16. Aidan O'Neil was outstanding and brought both energy and solid distribution to our midfield for the first time this season Was still running himself into the ground after 90mins and provided the pin point cross for Captain Clarke to score the winner Outstanding Debut and gets my vote
  17. If ever proof was needed that a full on 12thMan Fans support can really turn a game they only have to look to yesterday One of those special football moments most fans can only dream about Somethings happening again . . . . . . "We get knocked down but we get up again . . . Aint nothing gonna keep us down"
  18. Personally I don't think anyone should jump to the conclusion that "plenty of people are doing very well out of the name OAFC" Looks like the setting up of Companies to primarily protect their financial investment as would be good practise Brass Bank have financial commitments to both the Royal Bank of Scotland and the Co-operative Bank and I'd be surprised if the North Stand non-football activity £revenue was proving a winner for them at this time which explains the unfinished building works. I'd be really surprised if Oldham Event Centre Ltd was 'washing its face' financially either Mr Blitz and Mr Gazal are going nowhere unless they can exit without incurring significant £ losses Simon Corney has confirmed to nnn and other Supporter representatives our current losses as c£1.3m per annum (Oldham Athletic 2004 Ltd). Clearly no one making loads of £s from the day to day running of the Club We have American Investors who have over committed themselves financially v their original financial expectations
  19. According to Companies House records which are in the public domain: Simon Corney is only a Director of the UK Companies listed below: Oldham Athletic 2004 Ltd (No 04989487) - fellow Directors being Simon Brooke / Barry Owen / Anthony Gee / Ian Hill Oldham Events Centre Ltd (No 09484918) - fellow Directors being Simon Blitz / Daniel Gazal / Anne Kocherhan PCW Developments Ltd (No 0702589200 - fellow Directors being Simon Blitz / Daniel Gazal / Paul Whitehead / Christine Whitehead ************************************************************************************************************************************************************ Brass Bank Ltd (No 04919679) Directors are Simon Blitz / Daniel Gazal
  20. Well done Everton FC Trying to help a gifted young man get back into his profession I would think his last chance but good luck to both Everton and Jose
  21. Did make me chuckle that HarryBosch and for the record I didn't get a private audience to meet and greet him personally And to GlossopLatic, don't we just want the Trust to do 'what it says on the tin' and 'be our voice'. A welcome note shouldn't have taken more than 15-20 mins Cue the slinging of rotten fruit
