  1. It’s a fair point, and abundantly clear they can’t work together. Which ultimately leads to the million dollar question. Which future do you back? AL or FLG?
  2. Why do you keep conflating this issue??? No one is saying it’s new, or he isn’t allowed to recruit. Or that having a transfer committee or recommendations is new or wrong. The issue is wether he calls the person in the dugout a manager or a head coach, AL/Mo are picking the team.
  3. You don’t publicly slag off what’s gone on if you want employment elsewhere. Wellens/shez/Bunn said nothing. Wise move. The only one who could afford to not worry was Scholes- and look what he said. . AL hasn’t stopped at all. If anything he’s been more brazen about it by making it a head coach role. Why are you blinkered to that? The difference is Klopp is allowed to pick the team. Do you believe that we run with same the professionalism as Liverpool? Do you think professional boundaries of one’s roles within the club are respected? Ive no problem with giving the model a try, in fact I see some merit in it. I have an issue with AL pretending this is how it works and believing we’re mug enough to believe it.
  4. No. You don’t be ridiculous. Come off it Kow, you really think that If FLG made him a bid even with a healthy return he’d sell to them? I say them as they are what we are talking about, and the only interested party. If you want to speculate what he what accept from made up third party. Go ahead.
  5. Mmm. Thats a fair point about professionalism Kow. While I want to hear what wild has got to really say. This wasn’t the time, or paltform. More simply just don’t give him the mic, it does make them look bitter. Which I understand, but rise above it publicly.
  6. What? It that a line from a film? Clearly, that’s bollocks. If AL doesn’t want to sell the badge and the team he doesn’t have to. He’s already turning down 500k of free money to help run the club. Why? Because he’d rather cheese grate his own knees than ask for help off the FLG. They could offer him 20 million for the lot and he wouldn’t take it. This is about his pride and his ego.
  7. So you think he says the same thing on radio as he would to his fellow fans over a pint? . Ok.
  8. I take your point. I do get a similar feeling, that somehow Mo convinced him to take it on. It was said that Clarke didn’t have a big problem with AL it was mo who was the issue. Then you watch Banide’s presser, and mo is lauding it like some wannabe gangster. That being said AL has still got enough shit on his shoes to make me think he wouldn’t last much longer without his brother. Which was kind of my point, wether it’s either brother is moot in the grand scheme of things, the team/club is fucked under either of them two.
  9. While he was manager, he towed the party line. That’s a massive shock . . Now he’s basically a fan again, he says it as it is. Why on earth you would dig Pete Wild’s integrity out is beyond me.
  10. I Didn’t want to believe it. Or maybe thought it wasn’t as stark as that, hearing it from the horses mouth kills it for me. I’ve no interest in a Abdullah Lemsagam team- because let’s face it, apart from being in the dugout that’s what we’ve got.
  11. Micah Richards Retires. Do city still owe us a sell on after he finishes?
  12. Then you’d be on to tell us to Calm down, it’s only a friendly. . . #classicyeyrsey.
  13. Good effort. I bet your there there when we win two on the bounce. #under50’sareparticularlyfickle
  14. I don’t think it’s an assured utopia at all, in the same way that plodding along in league two isn’t an assured ‘league club’ utopia. However things have been so bad for so long that I am willing to look at other alternatives, or other models of how to the run the club. What one wants, and what’s on offer are two different things.
  15. Your just making stuff up. Not one person that said either of those things. What would you prefer- The current status quo. Or A club that’s all under one roof but perhaps in a lower league? An before you reply. Nobody wants relegation. Nobody. But that isn’t the point, we are talking about the future of the club. Look at the other thread about beer prices- a race to the bottom has already started and your more concerned about playing Crawley rather than Flyde. ‘If we go down, we’ll never come back’ Is often spouted, but again that isn’t important in the grand scheme of things. It’s really, really, not. What is important, is having some pride in the club again. The money club generates all going back into the club. Everyone pulling in the same direction. A fans bar where people don’t worry where the money is going. A owner who isn’t on a ego trip. A board of some description. No Barry. Paying our staff on time. Keeping and cherishing good staff. (Clarke) No Brassbank. No dual ownership. No awful statements. No division. But yeah your right, let’s keep all the shite as long as we play in league two. .
