  1. Good luck to everyone travelling down (or up) today. I just hope you all see a performance that this team is really capable of, not the limp efforts of late. There's more than enough talent in this squad to get the right result; they just have to turn up and show some balls. Sod what Rochdale do, just get at them and go for the win. Gutted I can't be there, but I'll be plugged in to iFollow. Here's to another session in League 1.
  2. Deflated. At least there's Forest Green Rovers, Cheltenham and Yeovil just up (and down) the road
  3. Now, who knows all about cheating? Let me think. *Strokes chin thoughtfully*
  4. Will Grigg is one of them, so it's probably a foregone conclusion. You know, Wigan Plastics and all that against likkle Oldham.
  5. Seems incredible, but if Dale and us both lose, we'll have survived on 49 points.
  6. I've just got to get a win. A bloody great big one. Can't rely on others now.
  7. You also forgot McGlaughlin/McLaughlin Dummingham/Dummigan There's probably more, but I can't remember.
  8. Very few points scored this time, 4 being the best anyone could manage in each division. The top 6 in the Premier League all stay the same, with Hometownclub holding a 6 point advantage over second placed Ex_pat. One last push could see any of the top 4, or even 5, take the top spot, but it won't be easy. Down at the bottom, BP1960 looks like returning to the Championship after one season in the top flight (probably waiting for the parachute payments to come in!), with Latics_Fanatic and NewBlue joining him. LaticsPete and Bristolatic will be hoping for something spectacular on the final day or they will be down as well. Barring a major slip up, singe looks like he will be in the Premier League next season, but the party is on hold for now as milnrow latics, oafcmetty and a259 could still steal it. It's going to take a supreme effort from pjkent, aidan_latics and AK's11 et al to break into the play offs or it will be Championship football again next season. Lawman and simplythemostimportantkick look like the only ones that may stave off the drop into League 1 next season, while Benja and JohnnyPimp hold on by their fingernails, Premier League Championship
  9. I'll accept that as you can see what's going on and I can't!
  10. It may well be a 4-4-2, but it can easily slip into a 3-5-2. The line-up on iFollow is 4-4-2, but they've got Nazon in midfield and Byrne up top! I bet they're wrong.
  11. This is either blind optimism or just me being an eejit. Latics 3-0 Donny (HT 1-0) - Nazon - 4,883
  12. That's got to be 3-5-2 and those that didn't want Fane in have got their wish. Not even on the bench.
  13. Alex Cisak on the bench for Sydney FC in their A League play-off semi-final against Melbourne Victory. Didn't realise he'd gone back to Oz.
  14. In what was a very disappointing night for Latics, Hometownclub still heads the Premier League in his first season in the top flight. Ex_pat and astottie did well with their attendance predictions, but it's not looking good for the bottom five where, barring a minor miracle, the last four don't look like making it with that bloke in 16th place not looking too healthy either. While singe hangs on to top spot in the Championship, milnrow latics replaces oafcmetty in the second automatic promotion place. Oafc1895 hangs on to the last play-off slot by the skin of his teeth. Premier League Championship
  15. Sorry folks, but none of those count as they were the second posts, so first one counts. It's what sometimes happens with rearranged fixtures. I don't think it made a lot of difference in this case.
  16. You could be right, but I grew up with the one that we wore for about 48 of the 56 years from 1910 to 1966. I'd love to see it come back. And before some smart arse says it, no I wasn't around in 1910.
  17. No change in the top 6 in the Premier League with Hometownclub nine points ahead of DavidCollinge, who stays in 2nd place despite failing to pick up any points. At the other end of the table, it looks all over for NewBlue and Latics_Fanatic, whilst LaticsPete and BP1960 could still escape the drop, but it won't be easy. Bristolatic is 5 points adrift of safety. In the Championship, the top 4 stay the same, whilst Oafc1895 and Stainrod swap places in the last play-off slots. aidan_latics' 7 points have given him the chance of a late charge for the play-offs. Runningman missed out on maximum attendance points by 2 and that prevents him from climbing out of the relegation zone and Lawman is 5 points from maintaining Championship status. Premier League Championship
