R.O.A.M Posted June 7, 2008 Posted June 7, 2008 The site says the colours are not exact. I hope not does anybody else thinks it's kind of Lime Green? Quote
johnafoafc Posted June 7, 2008 Posted June 7, 2008 The site says the colours are not exact. I hope not does anybody else thinks it's kind of Lime Green? I kind of thought the same thing myself but wondered if it was just me and I may be colour blind Quote
leeslover Posted June 7, 2008 Posted June 7, 2008 Linfield's new shirt looks a cracker! There's something not quite right about those shots, like she's been digitally put on a rack and stretched. I'd still let her have her 30 seconds worth, mind. Quote

real Posted June 7, 2008 Posted June 7, 2008 Linfield's new shirt looks a cracker! They're gonna look silly with those "shorts". Quote
Xander_OAFC Posted June 7, 2008 Posted June 7, 2008 Especially the more 'equipped' males. Anyway- I'm really looking forward to this new kit coming out, it looks quality. I'll be getting it the day it comes out. Whatever the date might be who knows... Quote
Snookmeister Posted June 8, 2008 Posted June 8, 2008 They're gonna look silly with those "shorts". Pervy joking aside, that's a quality looking kit. Why the hell can't we get a decent shirt manufacturer if the likes of Linfield and Rochdale can, why can't we???? Quote

real Posted June 8, 2008 Posted June 8, 2008 Watching Portugal vs Turkey last night I wondered if the kit might be a similar shade to the Turkish keeper's? As for that Linfield kit I think it looks a bit American. Neither a modern kit nor a traditional english kit? Might be ok for the Latics ladies team (assuming some of them have similar attributes to the linfield player) Quote
Crusoe Posted June 8, 2008 Posted June 8, 2008 Please. That Linfield kit looks bobbins. Like Rotherham blended with Ipswich. Stick it on a (slightly skeletal) attractive woman and people think it's quality... Quote
Bristolatic Posted June 8, 2008 Posted June 8, 2008 The site says the colours are not exact. I hope not does anybody else thinks it's kind of Lime Green? It's yellow, Jim, but not as we know it. Quote
LaticsPete Posted June 8, 2008 Posted June 8, 2008 Pervy joking aside, that's a quality looking kit. Why the hell can't we get a decent shirt manufacturer if the likes of Linfield and Rochdale can, why can't we???? Because we are financially better off with Carlotti. Lots of clubs in League 2, Conference etc have Nike . However the club has to more or less hand over merchandising rights to Nike - so club shops make much less money for the club. York , the former Scarboro etc - all were/are Nike , and it's certainly not out of the goodness of the corporate giant's heart. Nike will pay big bucks to the big clubs, and , unfortunately, demand a pound of flesh from the smaller ones. Quote
Diego_Sideburns Posted June 8, 2008 Posted June 8, 2008 The site says the colours are not exact. I hope not does anybody else thinks it's kind of Lime Green? As there are "technological constraints" preventing the correct shade of yellow from being shown on the OS, presumably the same will apply when it is pictured in the rarely wrong Chron after Tuesday's launch. So the only way to make a considered judgement is to see it in the Club shop. Quote
Rick Posted June 9, 2008 Posted June 9, 2008 Linfield's new shirt looks a cracker! Shirt? What shirt? Quote
LaticsPete Posted June 9, 2008 Posted June 9, 2008 Shirt? What shirt? Can't see Gregan in shorts like that..... (hopefully!) Quote

Diego_Sideburns Posted June 11, 2008 Posted June 11, 2008 If we play crap in it away next season will JS blame the performance on "tehcnological constraints"? No, he'll blame the linesmen for giving the stewards offside! Quote
Diego_Sideburns Posted June 15, 2008 Posted June 15, 2008 Big Gordon models the new suppporter's hat. Please note: Due to technological constraints these colours may be nothing like the actual ones. Quote
