GlossopLatic
Should we include Ian Olney in this list? (still our record signing 18 years on and looking good to remain so for some considerable length of time yet) had a good first season but it all went wrong after that. oafcprozac
Mark Brennan Brennan was superb in 92/93 and helped us stay up, his problem was niggly injuries that forever saw him in and out of the side. I still remember him playing more than his fair share though and scoring a few belters - particularly his goal v Chelsea and a belter at Watford, oh and a brace v Hudds! JohnnyPimp
Ah, Rodney Jack. International class striker who promised to put club before country. Then didn't. Then got injured. And was crap anyway.
LaticsPete
Mark Brennan Don't think he was a let down. Did a solid job.
Lags
Mike Fillery and Rob Lee will be hard pressed to beat. Though Dabo certainly comes close other than he managed more minutes with the stiffs.
Ketsbaia
Don't think he was a let down. Did a solid job. It was the niggly injuries bit Prozac mentioned that was a let down, IMO. Showed so much promise, only to never really see it through. Certainly not a flop by any means, but ultimately disappointing.

LaticsPete
Jimmy McIlroy - not a patch on Bobby Johnstone (or Tommy Bryceland). And not a succesful manager (though Bates was his Chairman).
andy_b_100
I think anyone would struggle to beat Mike filery and John keeley ...... not even two matches between them IIRC. Although Mr Purdie may give them a run for thier money !!!

Keeley played in 4 games Everton in the ADS Cup (A) L2-3 City (H) L2-5 Boro' (H) W4-1 Cambridge (LC) (A) L0-1 Fillery played 13 minutes at Hull, then played in the last away game at Notts County, the week after promotion had been achieved. He was never seen again - except on the piss in the Westwood!
Ketsbaia
David Currie. Actually saw him score a belter of a goal when he first signed, but he turned out to be a lazy :censored:e.
