garcon
If the Brazilians were to train there, I wonder how many tickets we could sell for a one-off open training session? More than a home game I reckon.

RoytonLatics
If this was to happen, would the club be given a healthy amount of cash from the FA, in a bid to bring the training facilities up to a premiership standard? If so could only be a good thing for the club.

Although having a Brazilian in an open training session would be classed as doggin, no? Edited February 16, 2010 by singe

oafc1955
it first has to be built , or will it be like the film field of dreams ie we are dreaming that it will be built ? With the uncertainty that the new stadium will even be built at all, it's a little strange that the meeting with Manchester City Council is even taking place don't you think? To spend all that money on the plans and the Bae land purchase before getting a green light for the development would be plain crazy........ I think club officials know a bit more than they're letting on!!!
underdog
strangely enough, I had a feeling something like this would be in the plans either for footy or commonwealth games, olympic games etc. I think its a good idea
RobOAFC
If agreed we will be a training site, then surely this will help get the stadium permission as the FA will be giving us their support aswell
