I can't get smashed as I'm out for my mam's birthday on the Saturday - but then if I got drunk to watch it I'd probably fall asleep anyway! Devils now 7 behind the Sabres, with 10 to play. I cant see it happening, but this week we have Boston, Pittsburgh and then Buffalo all away. After the Buffalo game, if we can have cut that to 5 points (7 to play) we might still have a chance. Its a slim chance though, because these next 2 are tough. We'v allowed goals like that too often recently and it's going to be hard to claw back dropped points. I think if the preds beat us next game then thats our season done. All the contenders are playing each other - we play the blackhawks, san jose twice, calgary, the kings twice, the only gimme against tha Avs, and your good self... I'd be surprised to see more than 4 wins out of that... Everyone will be taking poits against everyone... its not like we have any games against the east left. Anyone who finds some consistency in the last few games will get in the slot, calgary upwards... Oh, and just to rub it in... Selanne - what a frigging legend... The two goals that were ruled out were good calls. Although i think the goalie interference should have been a penalty because i think he left his leg out on purpose to trip him. There was some bad officiating that helped the stars, including when we had 7 players active on the ice and there was no call. You gotta fancy Dallas to win the last two games, we'll beat the Kings at least once, and can see the Hawks dropping points. I'd love it if you sneaked in actually. Don't hold much hope for us against the Lightning minus Cooke, Geno and Sid...though hopefully the latter is back at some point in the series. Apart from the few hours of joy i had after the wings/hawks game when i thought we were going to stroll past the wild like we have done all season. Oh well, always next season.
