Washington this Friday night I think.

Me and Andy are going to a new (to us) pub on Friday in Manchester. Could do it after that?

I can't get smashed as I'm out for my mam's birthday on the Saturday - but then if I got drunk to watch it I'd probably fall asleep anyway!

That was a haphazard invite to the pub too.

I was watching that game when he did that. Dirty bastard.

Got kicked out and hopefully a long ban.

Devils now 7 behind the Sabres, with 10 to play. I cant see it happening, but this week we have Boston, Pittsburgh and then Buffalo all away. After the Buffalo game, if we can have cut that to 5 points (7 to play) we might still have a chance. Its a slim chance though, because these next 2 are tough. We did look bloody good last night though.

He's also going to miss the first round of the playoffs. I'm glad the NHL has taken a hard line at long last but i still think it would have been better just to say to him thats he's done for this season and he should report back in september if he's still wanted

BOOM!

What a game last night... eh BJ? Second time Selanne has done that to you now this season! (yes, i'm very aware you will have your opportunity for revenge soon!)

... Its getting mighty interesting, its playoff hockey already with the Pacific round robin that is taking place over the next 10 days. Best conference in league playing each other for playoff places, gonna be ace...

I was watching it live and i couldn't repeat on here the words i shouted at the tv when that goal went in. We'v allowed goals like that too often recently and it's going to be hard to claw back dropped points. I think if the preds beat us next game then thats our season done. Too may un-forced turn overs last night. Incredibly frustrating, but we'l see what happens on the road

Nah, too much can happen in this last few days. All the contenders are playing each other - we play the blackhawks, san jose twice, calgary, the kings twice, the only gimme against tha Avs, and your good self... I'd be surprised to see more than 4 wins out of that...

Everyone will be taking poits against everyone... its not like we have any games against the east left. Anyone who finds some consistency in the last few games will get in the slot, calgary upwards...

Oh, and just to rub it in... Selanne - what a frigging legend...

Revenge! Barely. Why we insist on camping in our own zone when winning against the Ducks is beyond me. Clearly is doesn't work. The two goals that were ruled out were good calls. Although i think the goalie interference should have been a penalty because i think he left his leg out on purpose to trip him. There was some bad officiating that helped the stars, including when we had 7 players active on the ice and there was no call. Only 3 points behind now, gonna need the hawks to lose a few

Itcertainly is getting interesting.

You gotta fancy Dallas to win the last two games, we'll beat the Kings at least once, and can see the Hawks dropping points. I'd love it if you sneaked in actually. I'm sure the NHL press would wet themselves over the stanley cup champs missing out.

100 bloody points. Bylsma must win coach of the year.

Frigging east, innit.

Oh and....

Corey-Perry-tn1.jpg

50 goals - MVP! MVP!!

A truly staggering achievement, Perry has always been good, but this season his improvement has been nothing short of incredible...

Let's go Wild.

All due respect to BJB, just really want the Hawks to make the postseason.

Don't hold much hope for us against the Lightning minus Cooke, Geno and Sid...though hopefully the latter is back at some point in the series.

Oh, and I don't think there's a postseason on the fantasy...hoping not anyway!

Think most people wanted the hawks in the playoffs over the stars, i'v been at the EPL playoffs this weekend following Phoenix so as hockey weekends go this one has been painful. Apart from the few hours of joy i had after the wings/hawks game when i thought we were going to stroll past the wild like we have done all season. Oh well, always next season.
