oafcprozac
The fact it suggests his contract has been terminated, should we read anything into that? Perhaps we sacked him for 'refusing to carry out reasonable requests' in line with his job description? (i) To train properly and not be 2 stone overweight in your first year (ii) To occasionally be onside (iii) To familise one self with that netty thing and those big fook white posts…. (iv) to be occasionally found in the opposition's box (v) to control a ball and it to bounce less than ten yards from your body (vi) An occasional effort on target And any other reasonable request deemed necessary by the management…such as ermmmmmm….perhaps not being found guilty of drink driving, when trying to establish yourself at a new club. Oh Plymouth fans, I really pity you…if you thought we took the piss with Starbuck, you aint seen nothing yet!!!!

leeslover
Just in the nick of time, I was making the effort not to really, really dislike him just in case he ended up staying and I had to support him. Now I can relax and really detest the fat little piss-pot.
oldhamandy1
Well his comments to Sky Sports would not have gone down well, it seems strange that it wasn't mutual by the sounds of it. Good luck and good riddance Feeney.
OldhamSheridan
I'm guessing we paid him about 80% of his contract to 'terminate' it.
jorvik_latic
SMS, obviously he was waiting for a pay off Good riddance! Wasn't he offered a payoff anyway? I thought the stalling was because he wanted to go on loan and we wanted rid? Anyway, let's not get too excited, this is Plymouth and he might still change his mind... opinions4u
You'd notice the difference wouldn't you. Bradley Wright-Phillips. Warren Feeney. It's a tad more than a subtle change in striker power.

opinions4u
I'm guessing we paid him about 80% of his contract to 'terminate' it. I would assume it will be somewhere around Old salary at Latics minus New lower salary at Plymouth With the haggling over appearance fees, goal bonuses etc.
MaskedOwl
another one we've lost money on then i guess? ah well, let's hope we see a couple more players brought in. i'm guesin he was on a decent wage.
apple
I'm guessing we paid him about 80% of his contract to 'terminate' it. Why do you arrive at that figure?

HarryBosch
the timing of this stinks - the heartless bastards could have at least let him have one last afternoon in Spindles.
Hometownclub
Regardless of what we've had to pay him, the main thing is that he's gone. My god he was :censored:e. Edited August 3, 2011 by Hometownclub
leeslover
How do you arrive at that conjecture? If you rented an expensive pasta maker, never made edible pasta with it and then had to pay most of another years rent to get someone to take it away, you'd probably think that you'd lost money... Stevie_J
I would assume it will be somewhere around Old salary at Latics minus New lower salary at Plymouth With the haggling over appearance fees, goal bonuses etc. That'd be an interesting part of the discussion! slystallone
I would assume it will be somewhere around Old salary at Latics minus New lower salary at Plymouth With the haggling over appearance fees, goal bonuses etc. That's exactly what I would imagine; possibly with a small "relocation" fee to? Anyway; thank god he is gone....as the days went by; the more & more I started to dislike him - it was going to be a bind to actually cheer him if he had remained & actually got on the pitch for us. Bye Warren, thanks for the meaningless cup goal and for letting Michalik deck you leading to us getting to watch Gerry T smack a few players...the 2 things you did in over 1 year with us.
