singe
Carlisle new gound Race you! I wonder who will get it built first? Us or them! Mind you I am not sure wwhat certain posters would make of only a 12,000 seater, that seems to lack ambition and certainly does not make a statement oif intent to its rivals. Stevie_J
It won't be much of a race. Arsenal'll have moved out the Emirates by the time we have a new stadium.
apple
Shame. I like Brunton Park and thought there was room to redevelop it. Space behind both the open end and the main stand. But I guess the money's not there for just a football ground and if the new one is part of a bigger development that's where the financing , or much of it, will come from. And that's where we are - we need the money that comes with other facilities/services/buildings. And I believe the Board are doing a lot to bring this finance in. An announcement in January. Doesn't matter about the size of the ground the fact that they will make money from none footablling activity will make up for that. They will have the whole thing done before weve laid the foundations on the mythical new stand that will never appear where the lookers once was

Looks like it is a proposal at present without even outline planning permission. Good luck to them.
losesome
Looks like it is a proposal at present without even outline planning permission. Good luck to them. Well lets hope it's not another boring one piece development like Doncaster , also hope they remember that fans have cars and they don't have a 5 mile parking exclusion zone

It'll also make it a bit of a bobbins day out, though.
