OAFC_Ryan Posted February 1, 2013 Posted February 1, 2013 Important game against Walsall tomorrow, do you reckon we'll sign him up? Quote
Ross2509 Posted February 1, 2013 Posted February 1, 2013 Couldn't he technically play tomorrow but without a contract? On non contract terms like Morais when he first came? Then sign him up on a contract after the game Quote
GravityGrave Posted February 1, 2013 Posted February 1, 2013 Just been to get 'pie and a pint' tickets for Tuesday . Croft was training on little wembley with rest of squad . Quote

Wardie Posted February 1, 2013 Posted February 1, 2013 Just been to get 'pie and a pint' tickets for Tuesday . Croft was training on little wembley with rest of squad . The contract with Derby was a mutual termination and it really would be stupid of Croft to just disappear off the scene. The guy is now without a club or a contract and unless there are other clubs knocking on his door with offers, the best he could do is to stay put and look into the possibility of staying until the end of the season. Lukers1 Posted February 1, 2013 Posted February 1, 2013 I wonder if he raises his game tomorrow and for the rest of the season. In a funny way we might get the best out of him cause he needs a club and contract. Quote

oldhamoafc Posted February 1, 2013 Posted February 1, 2013 I didnt think we could sign him until the free/loan market opens again next week? I may be wrong though. Quote
singe Posted February 1, 2013 Posted February 1, 2013 I read that as croft has picked up a shedload of pies and a shedload of pints ticket. In fact I suspect he has. FIFY Quote
boboafc Posted February 1, 2013 Posted February 1, 2013 Lee Croft has signed a contact with Latics until June 30th, 2013. Quote

pdw76 Posted February 1, 2013 Posted February 1, 2013 On OS now. http://www.oldhamath...oft-633180.aspx Do you think there has been some kind of arrangement here with Derby to release him, allowing us to sign him permanently. This would free up another player to come in on loan if needed? Quote
Crusoe Posted February 1, 2013 Posted February 1, 2013 Do you think there has been some kind of arrangement here with Derby to release him, allowing us to sign him permanently. This would free up another player to come in on loan if needed? I'm not sure, but I doubt it. It's not like we were facing loan restrictions, and it means we're now paying full wages to Croft, which means less for another signing (loan or otherwise). Quote
archiecat Posted February 1, 2013 Posted February 1, 2013 I would think that from Derby's point of view that it's juat a matter of cutting your losses ! Good for us though Quote

I doubt that we're paying out any extra...the loan fee we were paying Derby will now probably be paid directly to Croft. Quote
