LaticsPete
Never wholly convinced by him but he scored some vital goals in the last few months and I give him credit for that. He's got the intelligence to want to improve and learn. I wish him success and a long career. And I hope we got the money off him before he left for that shirt.,,,,,? razza699
He was too big for us. It happens, sometimes players just get too big for clubs.
LT_SMASH
Sorry if this has been covered in another thread but I thought you got compensation for players under 24?
Crusoe
He'll be 24 on 7 June. Apparently by convention footballers' contracts run to 30 June. So we'll just miss out.
laticsrblue
I don't think it's just the money, Latics' offer must have been much improved on last seasons reputed £600. He's done the business against big clubs already and I'm sure he has an ambition to one day scare Prem league defences every week. A successful season or 2 with a Championship club and who knows he may just do that, Good luck Matt and thanks for the memories.
Bristolatic
Cheers Matt and good luck wherever you end up. You've still got some rough edges to knock off, but you'll do it with the right kind of tuition. We wouldn't have survived in this division without those vital goals at the end. The FA Cup goals put us all in dreamland. Well done, big fella.
