keep_the_faith
Dont. Get all the miserable bastards out commenting how :censored: we are and didn't create a chance.
MaskedOwl
Amen Andy. Nothing to be ashamed of and sounded like we gave it our all.
NIKI1234
Just a shame it took us to go a goal down before we really had a go at them. Was typical latics to score an own goal just as they went down to 10 men too. I was starting to believe we could nick something when they went down to 10 men
Lordy1
Where will the 5,755 be at latics next home game? Somebody on the coach said he didn't know who Clarke-Harris was embarassing that people who wouldn't of been this season have been given the ok to come whereas people who have bought home and away tickets all season haven't

NIKI1234
embarassing that people who wouldn't of been this season have been given the ok to come whereas people who have bought home and away tickets all season haven't Rubbish! Anyone who went home and away could easily have got a ticket for today. We only sold out a couple of days back.
PlayItLivo
Best thing that happened for us was Liverpool scoring. That's when we went at them showing no fear and really had some dominant possesion. We just couldn't create that clear cut chance. We defended well the first half but looked far too nervous, with most of our passes going wayward. Good effort, we kept the scoreline respectable and made Liverpool work for it. You could hear a pin drop in the Liverpool stands, their fans were dreadful.
opinions4u
Penalty at 1-0? I thought so. Worked hard. A bit careless in possession. Intelligent substitutions. Dominated for a 20 minute period, where we looked like we could and would unlock them. But we were a spent force by the time they went down to ten men. deyres42
Decent enough showing, certainly didn't let ourselves down. You do need that bit of quality or something different up front to win these games though and we don't really have it at the moment.
laticsmarra
Liverpool have scored in the first half in 90% of their home games this season. Well done Latics for keeping it to 0
disjointed
I honestly thought at 1-0 and them down to 10 men we could get something from the game, silly mistake by grounds but I aint going to slag him off because up to that point he looked really good. Kusunga though was awesome today.
Handsy
A great team effort and in no way disgraced ourselves ,don't think we ever really threatened them but a few players certainly enhanced growing reputations it's days like this that make me proud to say I'm an Oldham Athletic fan
iamjonesyyoafc
Penalty at 1-0 and who knows what conversations we could be having right now. Still mesmerised by Petrasso's turn. Bewildering how Sterling can be allowed to do to Dayton what Dayton wasn't allowed to do to Sterling.
lalalajpkalala
Gave it a good go. The players have nothing to be ashamed of. Did we do enough to deserve a replay? Honestly? I don't think so. Hope they kick on now and do the business in the league to keep us in Division 3, again.
help_shiny
regarding Sterling, I know he got some much deserved booing today but some micky mouser on twitter has been accusing the 'sickening' 'disgusting' Oldham fans of making monkey noises at him. I have said she heard what she wanted to hear, heard a black man getting booed and made 2+2 into 5. She's adamant though. So....did anyone hear anyone cross that line? It's distinctly possible someone may have done (and boo hiss to them!) but I know full well that the Oldham fans en-masse definitely didnt and she's full of poop. Plus she's from Bolton. A Bolton Scouserphile.Eurgh. I have of course pointed out a Latics player being reduced to tears a few years ago and then getting booed by thousands of Liverpool fans at his every touch but that doesnt count because they're the world's greatest fans, very knowledgeable, a great sporting public. Oh, and very very loud and vociferous as you all heard today ;-)
Oafc88
I didnt hear anything
Snookmeister
I didn't hear any monkey chants. Plenty of booing, but no racism. Oh the :censored:ing irony of being accused of such behaviour by a Liverpool fan. Their ground isn't nicknamed "Klanfield" for nothing.... opinions4u
Boos only.
help_shiny
cheers.I suspect she's in the same class as the Guardian (or Observer) journo who got sent to Millwall v Brighton to report on racism a few years ago. They left, horrified, after seeing thousands of people stretching their arms out and shouting 'Sieg Heil'. They actually printed it. Turns out, surprise surprise, it was the Brighton end shouting 'Seagulls'.
SavageTheBeast
Well played boys but first half we gave them to much respect. Took for them to score to bring us to live. There second came at a crucial time they was down to 10 and we had them on the ropes Edited January 5, 2014 by SavageTheBeast
another fan
Must admit that we all know there are no half measures supporting the Latics. Many days we despair Every now and then we are proud For me today was the latter
vendman
Fabulous game thought we we excellent. All played really well. Only the :censored:ty pass for their 2nd aside. Dont worry Jonathan you only do it every game.... great day out though!!
markgaston
Brilliant away day, Latics fans superb, no racist chants that I could hear. I nearly wet myself when Petrasso did that turn in front of the box, pity we didn't score but the lads can hold their heads high.
