disjointed
He won it, and is in the squad for Saturday.
Break The Silence
There's more chance of Adam Rooney bagging a hattrick for us on Saturday than Cheating :censored: getting a positive result from his tribunal. As foregone conclusions go I would suggest that's pretty much a home banker.
opinions4u
It's not a tribunal is it? Just an appeal to the employer.
tangerinedreams
It's not a tribunal is it? No Just an appeal to the employer. Correct, and an appeal that'll make him look silly, if he's got anything between his jugs he won't even bother, would you in his position (I'm not suggesting that you would put yourself in that position) because I know I wouldn't (not that I'd put myself in that position either)! Ackey
Correct, and an appeal that'll make him look silly, if he's got anything between his jugs he won't even bother, would you in his position (I'm not suggesting that you would put yourself in that position) because I know I wouldn't (not that I'd put myself in that position either)! As has been said repeatedly if he doesn't appeal it would likely go against him in the criminal courts as a tacit acknowledgement of guilt. Diego_Sideburns
The (former) player will be notified of the outcome in due course. http://www.oldhamathletic.co.uk/news/article/20140123-montano-hearing-1312031.aspx
Markspark92
What's happened to this guy ? from what I can see he's playing for a new club abroad (I follow him on Instagram) I imagine in his native Columbia he's been posting pics of him in what looks like a training kit during a pre season training session can't figure out what club it is. Not heard any news of his trial has he been found innocent or has he fled the country ? Any one know the latest ?
ShireBlue
Going off the South American example, he probably had a hero's welcome.
Markspark92
The team is America De Cali and they play in the Columbian second division
vendman
He's in the right place there for his dodgy ways....not manage it when told to get a yellow there and he'll end up in a tin of dog food!
Magic Mikey
Going off the South American example, he probably had a hero's welcome. Bit harsh to tar the whole of South America with the Uruguayan brush.

Tommy_Fent
Bit harsh to tar the whole of South America with the Uruguayan brush. I thought it was a reference to Antonio Rattin, he got a heroic welcome after 1966
opinions4u
Still on police bail isn't he? And working in Colombia? Wow.
rudemedic
Still on police bail isn't he? And working in Colombia? Wow. Maybe the police have quietly decided that he has no case to answer for in terms of his alleged match-fixing, unlikely I know but possible. kentlats
If the National Crime Agency (not the police) who are investigating this haven't imposed any conditions on him to remain in the country he's free to leave as he pleases so long as he returns when his bail date is due.
