I'd be surprised if Brighton were to throw in excess of £1.5m in though, although they have just let Ashley Barnes go to Burnley so they may have some extra cash lying about. Because it will depend on the wording of the contract, if we had to give Bury a % of the the next transfer fee then you are right but if we have to give Bury a % of the profit or any money received then you are wrong. Don't ask me who, because I'm going home now (football tonight or something) and I don't have time to wiki it. But I think Crewe had a deal like this.
