Oi Oi Saveloy's.

The 21st Feb sees our annual jaunt to East Landan for a proper old knees up in the battlecruiser pre and post match. A must for all OASISians.

Rub-a-dub of choice is the Coach & Horses, 391 High Road, Leyton, London E10 5NA which has a massive custard & jelly that screens the lunchtime game.

For those who haven't been, head to Leyton tube [Central Line], chuck a right when you come out and you're on Leyton High Road. The C&H is about a 10 min ball & chalk up the frog & toad on the left with the Matchroom Stadium / Brisbane Road next door.

The breakfast club, aka Dave and Geoff will be there for opening time I'm sure..... so arrive whenever you want. It's a top day out.

Rhyming slang key:

Battlecruiser = Boozer

Rub-a-dub = Pub

Custard & jelly = Telly

Ball & chalk = Walk

Frog & toad = Road

This isn't rhyming slang, you slag.

It rhymes, and that's what makes it not rhyming slang. You're supposed to say the word that does not rhyme and stop there.

Example: I had a dicky with the trouble on the dog.

Translation: I had a telephone conversation with my wife.

I'll teach you more in the battle.

I feel like a naughty school child being told off for persistent misdemeanors.

I must drink only green lager and go to the technical
