lookersstandandy
Oi Oi Saveloy's. The 21st Feb sees our annual jaunt to East Landan for a proper old knees up in the battlecruiser pre and post match. A must for all OASISians. Rub-a-dub of choice is the Coach & Horses, 391 High Road, Leyton, London E10 5NA which has a massive custard & jelly that screens the lunchtime game. For those who haven't been, head to Leyton tube [Central Line], chuck a right when you come out and you're on Leyton High Road. The C&H is about a 10 min ball & chalk up the frog & toad on the left with the Matchroom Stadium / Brisbane Road next door. The breakfast club, aka Dave and Geoff will be there for opening time I'm sure..... so arrive whenever you want. It's a top day out. Rhyming slang key: Battlecruiser = Boozer Rub-a-dub = Pub Custard & jelly = Telly Ball & chalk = Walk Frog & toad = Road

It rhymes, and that's what makes it not rhyming slang. You're supposed to say the word that does not rhyme and stop there. Example: I had a dicky with the trouble on the dog. Translation: I had a telephone conversation with my wife. I'll teach you more in the battle. Even if you go to the Hamlet first, can we still pop round for pie and pea supper afterwards? samuelwhittaker
I'm back for this one and looking forward to it. Will go to whichever pub the consensus settles towards after 947 messages of mithering. Coach and Horses is a bit of a dump, but nothing is in the same league of :censored:ness as the Enigma Tavern. Danny Mck
Technical last season was top drawer. set us up perfectly for Korey's touche and finesse.... I vote with the blue blooded Hamlet boys.
samuelwhittaker
Looking forward to this match even more after tonight's fanstastic but nerve-wracking victory. Having now consulted the Interweb it's fair to say the Technical does look a step up from the alternative, and has a better chance of serving beer that tastes nice.
