Croft and Higdon at Mansfield.

No one was complaining about his fat arse then either.

In fact he used it quite effectively to roll Leighton Baynes and break clear to set up the goal...

He's definitely put on weight this season though. It doesn't look good - smacks of slimming down to get a deal and then reverting to type.

Can't see why. If he was fatter than a professional athlete should be I dare say (without knowing what it was) that perhaps his fitness even contributed.

It may have done, I didn't see the injury, but the way he was being escorted by a physio it looked as though he might have dislocated his shoulder, or something akin to that. But that was from a good 60 yards away in fading light and with dodgy eyesight

My point was that if he is injured I can't see his weight remaining at its current level, he could well end up growing, but conversely, given how he was in the early stages of the season, perhaps he might slim down a bit.

I'm not sure that moot was the word you meant to use.

Medic is like one of those experts they get on 5 live when a plane's crashed to wildly speculate for 15 minutes on all the permutations of what could have happened

We can't say what's happened definitively because we're only seeing TV pictures from a helicopter above a mountain that is strewn with aircraft debris.
