England u20s v Netherlands u20s at BP

Recommended Posts

Remember England women playing Norway women in the late 90's ar Boundary Park 96. Norway won.

Glad the FA have brought the game to Boundary Park over the years seen them take the U20 etc on the road and always felt be good to see Them

Play at BP.

Hopefully club will see sense and make sure the new stand is open rather than the main stand

Could there be an opportunity for the club to offer a discount to all those who attend for a future home game? Maybe half price for anyone with a voucher from the game for the next home game (Scunthorpe on Tuesday 18th) or the next Saturday home game (Bristol Rovers on the 22nd).

Surely watching an England team play at BP for £3 or less will draw a decent crowd in? So if they enjoyed it maybe some will be tempted by the next home game if they can get a good deal.

The owners must be comfortable with current attendances or you'd assume they would do something about it.

I've assumed that the board would do a lot of things to benefit the club, it doesn't mean they regularly do.

Anyway, it was just an idea. It should be a good spectacle and hopefully a good atmosphere in a packed Boundary Park, which is always good to see.

Indeed.

It may even send a message out that the town is still interested in football, they just don't like being charged silly prices for the privilege.

You'd think OEC would use this an an opportunity to sell hospitality packages, seems not.

It be the FA selling all the packages but if we want non Oldham fans to attend better having the New Stand open.

Teams like Walsall and Telford United often host these internationals.
