jorvik_latic
I think that the more people turn up, the bigger the fee for the club. Spread the word!

Norway won. Glad the FA have brought the game to Boundary Park over the years seen them take the U20 etc on the road and always felt be good to see Them Play at BP. Hopefully club will see sense and make sure the new stand is open rather than the main stand
the_mighty_bosh
Could there be an opportunity for the club to offer a discount to all those who attend for a future home game? Maybe half price for anyone with a voucher from the game for the next home game (Scunthorpe on Tuesday 18th) or the next Saturday home game (Bristol Rovers on the 22nd). Surely watching an England team play at BP for £3 or less will draw a decent crowd in? So if they enjoyed it maybe some will be tempted by the next home game if they can get a good deal. deyres42
Just enjoy it for what is, no offers, no discounts, no worrying about how much money will be made.

deyres42
Yes master. The owners must be comfortable with current attendances or you'd assume they would do something about it.
the_mighty_bosh
The owners must be comfortable with current attendances or you'd assume they would do something about it. I've assumed that the board would do a lot of things to benefit the club, it doesn't mean they regularly do. Anyway, it was just an idea. It should be a good spectacle and hopefully a good atmosphere in a packed Boundary Park, which is always good to see.

It may even send a message out that the town is still interested in football, they just don't like being charged silly prices for the privilege. Teams like Walsall and Telford United often host these internationals.
BP1960
It's a night for dads and lads, not a piss up. I'm talking about using the North Stand catering facilities and masterchef Simon Wood to best advantage for an international fixture. BP1960
The average age of the crowd will be much younger than for an Oldham match. Why? I'm going at 71yo for starters so are many of my old mates who don't watch Oldham. Edited September 20, 2016 by BP1960

Perhaps the facilities will be in use for hospitality laid on for the officials of the F.A. and Netherlands FA.
