  1. Come off your soap box what as wrong with Ronnie Moore results wise. I have never thought we should not sack managers that aren't performing, but at some point the carousel has to stop. We have a manger managing amidst of a rotten start to the season, the legacy of years of the Corney regime and a drawn out change of ownership. We have played some of the best football at times that I have seen since the Premiership, let's cut him some slack to sort things out. Who is your suggested replacement ?
  2. I suggest we get a new manager in during the summer , we can then recruit a new team that will not gel as quickly as we all demand ( a couple of months). We will then be playing catch up and be battling relegation again. We will all, then be clamouring for that managers head and slagging off the players. As for his replacement let's try something new. Experienced manager at this level, rookie looking for first management job or a club legend who knows the club. Just forgot we've been down that road before and they were all crap. So let's all get that revolving door that is the heartbeat of OAFC spinning again.
  3. Yes you are correct it is winnable, but if you were going down the list you would be putting 3 points against most of our fixtures, Wigan away would probably take a draw.
  4. Know that most games are tight but except for Wigan you would say that most games are winnable
  5. Newsflash!!! VAR has been spotted on laptop in Regal Moon
  6. The Accounts and Confirmation Statement are different documents. The latter confirms Directors and Shareholders.
  7. He will have had to give warranties and indemnities in the sale agreement preventing him from walking away from unforeseen liabilities arising from his ownership.
  8. Thanks Underdog, yes it has been a problem since the stand was opened
  9. The lack of an adequate sound system in the North Stand while it may seem a small matter in the scheme of things really is a symptom of how the club has been run over recent times. They don't care about the fans. From a health and safety point of view I think the answer is that there is another system that they can put messages out on in the event of a crowd emergency. So the fact that we can't hear music and other announcements doesn't matter to the powers that be. perhaps things like this will change in the new regime and yes it is precisely the type of thing that the Trust should be onto the club about.
  10. What are your criteria for the Solicitors being "dubious" ?
  11. Difficult to say from a poll .Most of those who have completely lost interest wouldn't see the poll to respond.
  12. Great video let's build on the tradition and create more memories.
  13. It's actually a first for me on this track. In my opinion it's unlikely that PJ will not have a significant degree of influence if he is taking training.
  14. Not sure what he has brought to the table either. I was under the impression that the person brought in would be more of an adviser rather than taking training which appears to be the case. RW also said that he wanted TP to continue to be involved, there doesn't seem to be any evidence of that.
  15. It's just that some of the bugs that are around at the moment take a while to shake off. So while he may appear to be OK on the surface professional sportsmen need to be at 100%, 95% shows particularly for a player who plays with as much energy as Dan.
  16. I would go along with them except for Holloway who for me has not proved himself since he signed. I would add Dummigan,Hunt Gerard ,Clarke, Fane and Gardner. Admittedly Gardner has not shown his true form in recent weeks but I think he is still recovering from illness.
  17. I thought Gerrard played fine today. The mistakes weren't his. Clarke has been poor this season and I think most would agree that the Gerrard / Clarke partnership is not tenable. For me it is a close run thing as to who partners Bryan. Gerrard got the call and hasn't done much wrong to justify dropping him. Perhaps Clarke at his age has just lost that bit of edge he had last season. It has got to be more difficult each pre-season in your mid thirties to get back up to full speed.
  18. Not sure in that case why Abdullah arrived at Plymouth with Corney on the team coach, that is a fact that I saw with my own eyes,so no I don't need to "ask" you. It's people like you that are the "black clouds" over BP.
  19. Lovely weather in Plymouth 12 degrees sun peeping through and sea like a mill pond
  20. It's interesting to reflect on the Comments about Dean Holdens coaching abilities on here, when he was with us e.g. "He should be nowhere near a League 1 football team".He is now working with LJ again and enjoying a reasonable level of success at a higher level. Was he just learning with us;now got lucky;was better than many thought or is still no good and will be found out.
  21. He didnt say that he said the day after Shrewsbury they may become unavailable
  22. Unfortunately it has been pretty much like that for the last few games in the North Stand I.e. Previous games run out of Bovril and 25 minute queue for a beer. Perhaps that is why the previous management left,we don't seem to have the usual uplift in performance that you get when you change a manager in football.
  23. There are am any revenue prevention techniques that the club adopt ranging from not having enough stock for match days to more strategic techniques such as not opening a supporters bar and being incapable of running a club shop effectively. If and when the new investors take over there needs to be a root and branch review of how supporters are treated and their needs accommodated.
