    Me? Relegated from League One on two occasions fewer than Dan Gardner. Sacked on two occasions fewer than Darren Kelly. Responsible for being expelled from the FA Cup on one occasion fewer than Dave Pace.

    The fact that Dan Gardner hasn't yet captained a Darren Kelly managed and Dave Pace owned Droylsden side to Champions League glory still astounds me.

    This was my takeaway too. Half the team were outside the area. Should have had eight bodies in there. We finished with four defenders on the pitch, all playing in defence. It was a fucking shambles. We looked like a team in a midseason game who wanted a win but didn't want to risk the point they had. Aside from the panic and desperation coming from the stands, you wouldn't have known this was a team who needed to score at that point to survive. Absolute shitshow.

    I haven't mentioned Fane at all. Whether Gardner thinks Fane is shit or not is irrelevant to the fact that he isn't good enough himself.

    I'm not saying he's a non league player because he's going to be relegated twice. He's a non league player because he's too shit to play league football. I don't care how many goals he scored in non league. Most of what he hits ends up off target or pea rolling at the goalkeeper. And that's when he's managed a shot, rather than losing the ball by dicking around with it or, as he is prone to do, just straight up running it out of play.
