Quite.
If it wasn't costing volunteers money then start as many threads as you want. It just strikes me as remarkably selfish to carry on when you've been asked to stop.
Anyway, as you were.
I appreciate you get kicks from winding people up with your posts but the mods have been clear that:
1. It costs money when new threads are started;
2. The pot is almost empty; and
3. They have to put their hands in their own pockets to keep the site running when it does.
Give it a rest.
I turned off part way through the interview with Matt Chambers (no disrespect to him at all).
Jimmy Wagg had Moisley on beforehand and didn't ask any questions at all about the circumstances in which the Foreign Legion have arrived or whether that was in any way connected with Sheridan's specific decision (or agreement) to go or his general uneasiness.
Then Matt Chambers comes on and is quickly asked about the rumours of an unsettling arrival of players Shez may not have wanted.
Ask the pertinent questions to the bloke at the top rather than the local journalist.
The quality of journalism on that station is dire.
'I am always very careful what I say because people sometimes take it literally.'
Classic.
At the start of the interview we have agreed a fee with another club and the hold up is the other side now dallying, then later we are under a transfer embargo for overspending...
There is a huge council car park on Seasiders Way just up from the ground.
But yes it could be absolutely rammed. On the bright side there shouldn't be much football traffic...
I wasn't at the Walsall game but against Burton he definitely handled the ball inside his area.
Had he handled it outside his area he would have been sent off and would have been suspended for the next game.
Another close call.
Agree with all of that except for the ref comment - thought he was generally very good. Most pleasingly he allowed AAH to use his strength which other refs for some reason blow fouls for every time.
I wasn't at the game on Saturday but I was entertained tonight.
Loan deadline is end of the month isn't it? So come end of August may get better value but not if we are desperate to get someone in the next 48 hours.
Anyway, Ripley will clearly be announced on loan until January on Friday.
My recollection was we got a very early penalty, got battered for 90 mins and then scored against the run of play in stoppage time.
Swansea that day looked every bit the Champions they ended up as at the end of the season.
