  1. Do you like Mouldy Old Dough? Should the club carry on playing it at games?
  2. Things could be a lot worse without Corney. We get 3.5k home crowds and we're still in League 1. Could be better sure but things can still get much worse depending on what future owners do.
  3. Who will be the new Oldham manager? Who would you want? Has the decision already been made or will we have interviews with different candidates? Hopefully it won't a long process like it has in the past.
  4. Thought we played decent last night, still a lot to work on but I don't think we should be panicking, we were unlucky not to beat a side in the league above. We never gave up all game and came back from behind to take the lead. We made some silly mistakes and at times we just couldn't get the ball to stick upfront. Duffus really struggled tonight, seemed well off the pace. Ben Wilson was great in goal, I think Ripley helped the defence massively last season by saving shots he really shouldn't have done, maybe WIlson isn't quite doing the same yet. Dummingan's final ball was pretty poor and he should have done better cutting out the shot for the second goal. McLaughlin and Brian Wilson worked really well done the right last season, Dummigan needs to improve if he's going to stay there. Fane's backpass was unforgivable, so poor.
  5. The Forest game for me. Couldn't believe we were 5-0 up against a side that beat us in the Littlewoods Cup Final a few seasons earlier.
  6. RIP Gordon. A sad day for the club, such a great guy. Maybe a game could be arranged for him in the coming Pre Season to celebrate his life and what he did for the club?
  7. What would you do if B Teams did join the Football League? Would you stop going altogether? Not go to the B Team games?
  8. What if this extra money from these two fixtures are the difference from being able or not being able to pay the wages? Would it be such a bad decision then? We cannot afford to miss out on extra revenue. We've been under an embargo already this season for quite a while and it could happen again.
  9. We can't afford to. Plus if you did that you'd annoy the ST holders even more.
  10. The fans I'm sure will be up for a clash against Sheffield United, like they have the last few home games since Shez came back. Plus if it was always about the money Clarke would have been gone in January. Being offered money for him when his contract is up at the end of the season?
  11. Bigger picture, £50k we don't have to find elsewhere. For all the Anti-Corney sentiment on here, who do you think funds the losses? It's annoying and an inconvenience to fans who sit there but we aren't in a position to turn down money.
  12. I agree with the club regarding the switch for those games. We can't afford to turn down extra revenue in our position. Maybe something can be given to ST holders as compensation for the move rather just being forced to move?
  13. With recent votes for Brexit and Trump we'd end up with Connor Ripley upfront. If you want to make the decisions, play Football Manager..
  14. just not to look amateurish, that'll do. You can save the Pyro for another time.
  15. I rather we weren't amateurish and made an effort, small things as I said. Strategy and results far more important of course but that hasn't been going too well the last few seasons.
  16. You're right but we still could have done a lot better than what we did, as I said it makes us look a bit amateurish.
  17. They've had a day at least to sort something out, make it look more professional, it just looks half-arsed. They've just built a new stand with conferencing facilities etc and they use a small room with no boards. Small things probably but it doesn't look great at all.
  18. There's a clip on Radio Manchester's twitter, the press conference looks so amateurish. Sums this club up right now. I know we change managers often but make an effort.
  19. This season I've found the fans have been very apathetic at the games. Even when we win a corner or a free kick in a good position there has been very little response. No 'Come On Oldham' at all from what I noticed. The game at HT was much better than the main event. I'm not one for leaving a game before Full Time, I'm there to watch the football regardless but the football and the lack of fight in the last 2 home games has been so bad I've left long before the end. It's unacceptable that we have to put up with performances like that. I'm a season ticket holder but I won't be going again for a long while. I wanted to go hand my card to Corney and never return again. I didn't really want to go today but thought it might be better because we played ok at Charlton.
  20. Burgess was pulled by Grigg just before the incident. If anything it should have been a free kick to us.
  21. If he's appointed will have to see how he does. I just want someone who knows what they're doing on the training pitch and knows how to get them well organised for a match. Someone who will work very hard for the club won't necessarily be good enough.
