Dropping admission prices would be fantastic if we could bring enough fans to cover the potential loss from it. Even at the prices we charge now and the attendances we get it's not enough to fund the team in League 1 without having to sell players and the odd cup run to break even. Dropping prices £5 going to do anything to the attendances? Dropping prices by 50% going to bring double the attendances? Not a chance. We had a season categorizing games, think we charged £15 for some games and it didn't bring about a higher attendance. We need more fans to support the club, the buck stops with us unfortunately. Constantly moaning at Corney when he's only doing what he can with the money he gets from ourselves. The fans need to come out and support the club more but unfortunately for the level we are at they are not.

The way LJ likes to play it's very important the players are as fit as they can be and can recover quickly between games. Heard so many times that players can't manage two games a week or that we concede late goals. Better fitness and less fatigue could have seen us being that bit higher in the league last season.

Hope we keep hold of Korey Smith, class player for us. If we get a fee for him then fair enough but we'll miss him

The article says he's been exceptional in recent months, what about the months before that? Not doubting his talent, just doubt he'll be able to produce it consistently over a full season. Seems like a player who had great potential but never fully realised it.

I'd stay clear of Campbell-Ryce only plays when he feels like it. He's got plenty of pace but there's no point if doesn't play his best every week. He'd have a good few games when it mattered like yesterday.

I don't even think Dickov is as bad a manager as people are suggesting. At Doncaster he's taken one of the smaller clubs in that division down and only on the last day. No surprises there? At Oldham he took us to a cup Semi-Final and was the manager for one of our greatest results since we were in the Premier League. Whilst League performances were often inconsistent. He's not brilliant but I wouldn't say he is awful either.

Maybe the solution is to charge Season Ticket Holders extra instead of discounting for the RRE with the guarantee that they don't get moved at all during the season? The extra costs can go towards subsidising losses from shutting out away fans in certain games because we get if we're lucky 4000 home fans in a 10000 stadium. Leaving 6000 empty seats but no room for any more away fans.

It all depends on what the deal is that we know very little about. If the club can earn more profit by having SD run the shop then that part of the deal is good.

Well SD will want something in return for their seven figure sum over 5 years. They won't be handing a sum like that over because they like the club. The shop will be run by them and we'll only get a percentage of sales from it whereas at the moment we will pretty much be maximising revenue from it. Shirts will be made and sponsored by them, they'll want something extra out of us selling them, they won't be doing that and charging normal manufacturing prices for it. Stockport did a deal with Nike and they took over their shop, I recall that was a bad move for them from speaking to County fans I know. They might be giving us a good sum of money every season in the deal but things we generate income in now could be reduced with the deal. I hope the money coming in far outweighs what we could stand to lose in other areas.

The stadium was due to be renamed after potential sponsors Honda back when Sports Park 2000 was being talked about. It's just a sponsors name and it'll always be Boundary Park to the fans. Sounds like a decent deal going on what's been said in the article. Not keen on the idea of Sports Direct running the shop and taking a percentage of sales though. Yet another income stream the club wouldn't fully receive 100% of so not maximising potential revenue. And Sondico make goalkeepers gloves, not football shirts! Hope they do a good job on them. At least 2 new kits next season. Thought the JD deal lasted longer than this season.

Done alright with media-friendly managers recently. Thought Dickov was just as good for us in that respect and he was good with the fans too.

He's nearly caught up on Adam Rooney in terms of goals for the club. He's still young and while he looks a great player his finishing lets him down massively. If he was a good finisher he could have sent us down last season. He was great against Bradford, what we want to see of him but it's all too infrequent. Hopefully he will improve his finishing and turn into a fantastic striker.

If that's the case then that's great. It's just a bit unclear from what I've seen.

Looking through the info for a season ticket it seems that if you don't have a Season Ticket currently you can't buy one for the New Stand? You have to have a season ticket currently to be able to transfer?

And why shouldn't they?
