  1. Chesterfield having a busy day , 2 in already one of them known to us. Reece Brown.
  2. My My you are a touchy one. Fine if you cannot answer a simple question we will leave it. A bit ironic that you call Corney at every opportunity for not answering questions when asked. You are not really all that different then are you?
  3. Just where in that post have I appointed myself as a spokesperson for other people? It is a simple observation of the discussion on this thread and your hostility to the clubs ownership. I notice you have chosen to ignore the one question you have been asked-again. Perhaps if you take your time again and read the post you will manage to come up with an answer.
  4. Well from you this is exactly what most people expected. No support for any of the attendees and your last line sums up your attitude to them perfectly. Perhaps naively they expected some support for them trying to do something positive. I notice you had no postings early in this thread when most people where expressing thanks and appreciation for their efforts, as soon as the tone changed up you pop to start firing bullets again at the club ownership and attendees. Tell me something. What use are the above 4 points to you? What actual difference does it make knowing the above? You have no means of changing the clubs ownership, we already knew the club was skint. What players/people earn is none of your business. Not paying the rent but not being held accountable for it is surely a good thing and we all know that the club runs a cash deficit
  5. And now we have the new Connor Brown. When you hound him out of the club who will you turn on next? It is all a bit pathetic really but the club's so called supporters have a long history of this.
  6. If Fane plays he breaks up the play and allows Banks to play football. They did this at Port Vale away and he had an excellent game and scored, he will never be a ball winner/yarddog that many seem to like on here.
  7. Some fair points here about Robinson's team but wasn't there a vastly experienced support team behind him supposedly vetting these players for their suitability in League 1?
  8. Got to agree with this. If we are pinning our hopes on a 6' 7" striker who manages to be shorter when he jumps than when he stands up then God help us. Others on here raving about one stumbling run down the left wing-that's how low we have fallen when it was the highlight of the game for us.
  9. Mine is easy. The best left foot seen at Boundary park. He could hit a free kick like few others could-bare in mind the ball was not like it is now-although still a sphere!!
  10. Do you really have to post rubbish like this? Any support is to be welcomed and encouraged.
  11. Miles away from the river now. In the middle of nowhere really.
  12. What a quote this is-you are jumping thru hops over Robinson's sacking and then say this-Its people like you who contribute to 7 managers in 2 years.
  13. What a quote this is-you are jumping thru hops over Robinson's sacking and then say this-Its people like you who contribute to 7 managers in 2 years.
  14. He WAS a great player for us He WAS good manager to keep us up. He WAS a rat for jumping ship at the worst possible time. The 2 points above will not keep us in this league. The 3rd point may well take us out of this league. For this alone I would not allow him anywhere near this club again.
  15. NNN-at last something that makes sense. You cannot compare Sheridan and Robbo. One in his first managerial job, started with 4 players in the club and given little time to assemble a squad before the season starts. The other as previously stated by Magister. 3 clubs, lots of experience all still struggling after his magic touch which produces so called miracles. As sure as night follows day Keith Hill gets a mention on a Latics managerial thread. Snooooooze.
  16. I will say it one more time. How does somebody who has just lost 9 games on the bounce 'massively increase our chances of staying up?
  17. I know-I have this great idea to save our season and keep us up. Lets get a new manager from a division lower than us that has just lost 9- yes 9 straight games in a row. He must be doing something right. If he keeps us up then we can offer him the job for the following season-as long as no one else offers him 10 bob more than us and he jumps ship just before we start preseason.
  18. Not in a million years. Let him sweat, lower his handicap and look at his bank balance which was boosted when he left us in the lurch. Sometimes in football you want to say 'justice has been done'. On this occasion it has!!!
  19. Talking of unpaid bills and money shortages. Bolton chairman says they are losing £800,000 a month-Wow!!
  20. Er, think you need to look at last nights results before you post.
  21. Not in a month of Sundays. Left the club at the worst possible time. Funny how some players leave to further their careers and are never forgiven by fans. This fella left for a lower league club with little or no prospect of a big money injection yet still people hold him in some kind of reverance. No doubt when he is fired by Notts County for being an abject failure there will be an avalanche of posts wanting him back. No Thanks. Move on!!!
  22. Was it a decision to scrap last years team? Did we really consider many of last years team as worth keeping? Modern football in our league means most clubs have massive release lists at the end of the season-several let over a dozen players go last year. Your comment:- You may think that's why he left but it is just supposition-no fact. Many believe it was because he was offered better money. What is the obsession with him anyway? He left this club in the lurch and has done nothing at Notts County.
