mmm. From what I've heard, not too may Kilmanock fans agree with him on that.
I work with one who reckons that, after only staying up through winning a play off, and then having a bad start to this season, he was only a game or 2 away from getting the sack. It's only the last couple of months that the pressure on him has eased with a few decent results.
Their current position of 6th is a bit deceptive too. They are only 4 points above the relegation play off spot and 19 points behind 2nd place.
There are not too many Kilmarnock fans who are annoyed by the fact he's no longer their manager, it's more the manner and the timing of his departure, and the club he has left for that upsets them.
