  1. but plenty of players have switched about sides in the Masters, Neil Redfern played for Wigan this year and was the only one for them that I'd heard of
  2. I noticed a fair few Latics fans at the masters, plus we're the 2nd nearest club to the MEN Arena, as for the team, can't they play if their involved in management? We'd have to have stitch in our side, I think if it was between us and Stockport we'd have more known faces involved
  3. it was hard to see from the other end of the pitch, but you could tell by the reaction of the players that it was a bad decision
  4. wonder whose seat it is? The one next to me is broken anyway
  5. one of the best peices of business we've ever done, let hope he makes a speedy recovery
  6. it's not that I don't take it seriously now but when I was 8 years old Football was my life as I'm sure it was with everyone else at that age and just being in the presence of the opposition fans used to scare me a bit at that age as to me they were 'the enemy'
  7. I think we all know what you mean, hence partly why I moved to the Lookers; that, the fact that its become a 11-15 year olds stand and wozz_oafc's reasons. Also I do think a move to the Rochdale Road End is the way forward I sit in the Paddock now and I can only faintly hear the Chaddy as I sat there last season I know how loud it actually is in there, if those same people were in the RRE then BP would of become a hell of a fortress, all I suggest is that a tempory move to the RRE until when/if the new Chaddy gets built
  8. In recent years I've usually gone on away trips by train so I haven't noticed anything die out. I remember playing Sheffield Wednesday in the Premiership and seeing all these scarfs hanging out of windows from different cars and being terrified
  9. "Ricketts use your Brian" I can't take credit for that one
  10. I don't know of that many that are going tbh, I'm in a group of just 4 of us, the flag will be there though
  11. When Scotland scored on Saturday they sang their version of that "I'm gunna be 500 miles" instead of the line "to fall down at your door" they sang "to see the Scotland score" which I thought was good, apparantly they've been doing it for years though
  12. I dont remember a time when they didn't play goal music and I'm 21
  13. I'd rather play 2 player, but it seems most games don't allow that anymore, I spend most of my time on Brian Lara Cricket
  14. It basically suggests that your atmospheres rubbish when you feel the need for instruments
  15. no not Beckford, he was just never fit, like Killen and Stam, all class players IMO but never fit to play to their full potential
  16. all I can think of atm is GK RB - Dean Holden CB CB LB RM CM CM LM CF CF - Chris Hall
  17. I know it will be hard to some people, as I like most hate losing, but has there ever been a game where you've lost but walked away satisfied? For me it has to be the 2-1 defeat against Huddersfield in 2005, just after we sacked Brian Talbot, we were robbed by the linesman and couldn't stop singing, for some reason everytime I hear the song "Dakota" by the Steriophonics I think of that game
  18. What I want to know is Will it depart as early as it did on Saturday? I finnish my milk round at 7:30am normally, so it gave me less than an hour to get ready on Saturday. If it leaves after 9am then I'll be up for it and Scott will be up for it, my brother won't be, not sure on Wozza
  19. if Wozza can get in for an under 16 like the other night then surely I can
  20. 20 quid, then again who here got their beer for free?
  21. I'm sure some people will feel that way about John McGinlay and Iain Dowie, I recall John Gannon being quite a dirty player and everyone around me getting irate whilst playing for Sheffield United, then he signed for us
