    Hi Steve A few years back we had a cultural visit to Peterborough. Before the football and a few beers we paid a visit to the cathedral. I know, but it is worth it and we still had a beer or three after the game! Cheers - Brian.

    Last season we had an overnight stay in Worthing. Great cheap hotel from late rooms, and lots of great little boozers selling real ale (as well as the hotel!)

    One and one's daughter is going in the motor. Parking at Hendon and catching the underworld there. It saves all that messing about in the smoke and on the way back you just jump on the M1! Simples

    I am liking this, first off I got in as an OAP at Notts County (even though I am not and don't look it - it's the Russian Hat!!) 2nd off, my mum used to live a couple of doors away from Dora Bryan on Green Lane in Garden Suburbs Oldham. Can I have 2 free tickets please or am I . That reminds me will the chippy at Everton be open so I can buy a burger or will it be having a fire again!!

    I love it to bits - I am not on facecloth or twatter so do I now have -3 friends? It might be true!! Admin - I know, I know I have no friends but how do I lose the "0 warning points" is it only me with them??     Hi Ian Very sorry to hear your awful news, keep the faith and this will see you through these sad times. Sorry I can't make Sunday, mate, however I hope it goes very very well. I am sure one of the office laptops is in need of your TLC and in the next few days I will give you a bell and send Chris up with it and also a donation to your two chosen causes.     Hi Chaps. Wow that Owl is good. Not only can he score against Tranmere's Keeper (I did not see our boys doing that) He came third in the mascot race and before the Crewe game I saw him in a Public House win EVERY game of pool!!! (mind you the contenders were not too good (Kenny!). Respect to the Owl!

    I know that this season our match referee has been crucial to the outcome of the game. (last weeks IMO had large stadium syndrome!). Saturdays referee is Scott Duncan from Northumberland, new to the list in 2012/2013. Last year he was in the Conference and in 2012/2013 he has done 6 games, all in League 2. Ours is his first League 1 game - lets hope he gets it right!

    Plus 2 - It's not the game that counts, it's just an excuse to go to that dam good chippy on Gresty Road. It would be nice though to go back up the M6 with the 3 points!

    I was one in sixty eight. What a fantastic evening. All credit goes to our fan who in the second half kept taking the pi*s out of their keeper, he was our 12th man.

    There are 3 of us going in the car. The football expensive as it is will be third on Tuesday, first off there is a fantastic Fish and Chip shop at Seaton Carew a couple miles down the coast and second there are plenty of decent pubs selling cheap real ale in the town centre.
