  1. Wasn't there some debate over the number of tickets allocated two seasons ago. I vaguely.seem to recollect that Liverpool would not let the. Club have further tickets. Mind you having said that we need to get past next. Tuesday
  2. I say this tongue in cheek so please dont get too uptight but isnt there a chance that one or two of their "fringe players" could be in our first team?
  3. Personally I am pleased that the game has been rearranged as I was having to miss this game due to work and if I am not working on the rearranged date Playershare should benefit slightly
  4. Had a total knee replacement last January the Monday before the Liverpool game, Much as I tried to convince others there was no way I was allowed to go to that game. I did however get to the Everton replay at Goodison. Must admit that the stewards found me a fantastic seat pitchside and for a while considered using crutches for other future games Bloody hell it was a long painful walk from where the coach was parked to the ground but managed to get back to "the local" for a few pints afterwards
  5. I agree with you but unfortunately IMO both could be tarnished
  6. I contribute to Playershare albeit in a small way and will continues to do so. Like others on here I have had reservations about the way "things were being handled" but now feel confident that steps were being taken to try to protect any monies being given to the fund
  7. I am eligible and use a disabled persons pass which allows me and a "carer" to enjoy decent discounts by virtue of the fact that I am a registered hearing aid user. Although off topic as an example my wife and I are travelling to Harwich via Euston and return to Mills Hill for a total cost total cost of £78 I believe that this could save other fans travel costs to away games by using this card http://www.disabledpersons-railcard.co.uk/
  8. Perhaps in previous seasons people were using à tunnel to get OUT
  9. I owe you £3.06 from this game. (Walsall) Will paypal it with a bit more at the end of the month
  10. You must have been our lucky charm but sadly it did not last. Having said that my daughter started going around the same period and was lucky enough to get to those games and Ipswich too My son who now follows the Latics was born on the 19th December 1987 (City 1 - Latics 2 @ Maine Rd.) has not had too many things to cheer. Hopefully things will soon change Back on topic JR and JF are top of my list and in an ideal world soon to be joined by LJ
  11. Good luck Alan, thanks for your help when you were at the Club, You always made time to talk to / respond to anybody
  12. Once again I have to agree with one of your posts
  13. Definitely NOT as I am taking the grandkids to a holiday park near there for a few days next week, perhaps the week after
  14. "Entertainment was something that was in short supply last season at BP unfortunately
