    If we're seriously having to rely on a drum to create an atmosphere at our biggest game for donkey's years then we may as well give up. PNE away last season was the best atmosphere I've heard at a Latics game in recent years and guess what... no drum. The home game was a great atmosphere, but I think it would've been without the drum too.

    Lee by a country mile. Also, is it Kieran or Keiran? Because he has a namesake with the alternative spelling of his forename who happens to be a male pornstar, which I unfortunately found out once whilst attempting to view the footballing Lee's wikipedia page...

    It's fine bringing in someone who's inexperienced during the summer when he's got time to get to grips with the ins and outs of management before the season starts. But bringing in a rookie when we've got 15 games to save ourselves from relegation would be a massive gamble. And one not worth taking imo.

    If I recall correctly, Huddersfield fans had taken their shoes off in protest against their then chairman during a game a few seasons ago. This was then countered by Oldham fans imitating them. I'm sure I'm not making this up.

    Is it? Maybe if you take club size into account, but if we're going off the ability of both teams a win against Everton would be a bigger achievement, definitely.
