  1. The Olympic stadium is huge tbf, and they only average 30 odd thousand. Obviously it'd be higher for a derby but it should be easy enough to get a ticket.
  2. I tend to follow their results and watch the odd game online, they've started to stutter a bit of late but they've been fantastic for most of the season. I intend to go over to Germany sometime in the future and take a couple of Bundesliga games in, and Eintracht would probably be on the list. What's Frankfurt like as a city?
  3. We should have learnt from that experience and bought a goalkeeper with the surname ':censored:e' in the hope there was some reverse irony.
  4. "RECALLED KEEPER HITS OUT AT LATICS" I'd expect sensationalist reporting like this from The Sun, but not a respectable publication like the Chronicle.
  5. It's a bit tenuous, but one of my most vivid memories from when I first started attending games is The boys are back in town by Thin Lizzy being played at half time.
  6. http://www.itv.com/sport/football/article/2012-12-01/fa-cup-report-oldham-athletic-3-1-doncaster-rovers/
  7. Beat 'em 2-0 at their place in the play-off season, and 3-0 when they were under Megson too.
  8. We've not done too badly against Forest in recent years have we? Good city, cracking ground. Could've been a lot worse.
  9. I wasn't at the game, but was there signs of Dickov's work in training that was highlighted earlier in the week coming off? It certainly sounds like it. http://www.owtb.co.uk/index.php?showtopic=40200
  10. That's how I've felt at a few of the homes games this season tbf
  11. The worst part is, this league seems to get worse with every passing year. It's a pathetically :censored: division this season, the worst it has ever been.
  12. It's Lancashire Day, so the players have a duty to give those Yorkshire rascals a good beating. Do it for Henry VII lads.
  13. He'll probably have acting commitments mate.
  14. As a player maybe. As a fan it isn't. Do you seriously support Latics in the hope of success?
  15. Not anymore it isn't. I know plenty of lower league fans who are completely indifferent to the idea of making it into the Premier League, including myself. The amount it costs to go and watch League One football is a disgrace in itself, the money involved in the Premier League would probably kill my enthusiasm for live football off altogether.
  16. Cup. Losing against the form team in the league isn't a disaster. A big third round tie can be a massive boost for the club.
  17. He's finally realised none of the foreign lads can tell a bloody word he's saying so he's resorted to using sign language
  18. I think the last few games have proven that he is best used as an impact sub, rather than a starter. He's a great option to bring on when centre backs are beginning to tire and is awkward for them to face. I just don't think he's a good enough footballer to play from the start.
