    I don't know why I wrote 'actually', as if I thought this was some sort of false claim. I think I thought it might have been a repeat of the show I saw. I know we're flavour of the month because of the Liverpool game, but it's still kind of cool that we get a mention. I can't think of too many other celebrities whose football clubs of choice get brought up on chat shows...

    So did this actually happen yesterday? I watched Jonathan Ross when Brian Cox was on last year, and they made a point of mentioning Latics. If he's been on again, and they've brought it up again, he at least must still have a soft spot. Fair play to him, taking time out from being a full time awesome bloke to mention his hometown club...

    Meh, I've always felt nothing but indifference towards Tranmere. Obviously the Ronnie Moore-factor adds a bit of spice to the fixture, but apart from that Tranmere are just another club really. Which is a shame in a way, it would be nice to have a proper rival in this division...

    We're still a 3rd tier football club, and there isn't many vacant positions to fill for out of work managers. That number sounds realistic to me.

    I think the Liverpool game might have given him a bit of a stay of execution. Anything less than a win on Tuesday and the inevitable will probably happen.

    I hate floated corners. Even if the ball reaches a teammate the chances are they won't be able to generate enough power on their header to beat or even test the keeper. They're becoming more and more common and they annoy the life out of me.
