    brill set up the wall all wrong. there was a massive gap for their man to bend it round, and fair play to him cos he did. i would have to place the blame with hazell though becuase it came from our freekick which sould have been put forward, not sideways. then, he gave away the freekick when their man had the better of him.

    please can nobody sing it over and over again tomorrow? it is ok for one or two goes but when it is the only chant people sing for 90 mins, it gets really boring. why not sing the great escape like we did last time at their place or something like that that can carry on for ages without getting annoying

    but he has been contributing to the team and feeding dagnall with goals. he has a had a fair few assists.

    and if we win tomorrow, that will build up to what could be a cracker of a cup game, shame i cant go

    i was wondering the same thing a couple of weeks ago but also where does he play and will he do well. so i asked the darlington fans on 606 and they said he wont score many but he will break up the midfield and look for the killer pass to the strikers. sounds like the player we need

    there are definately positives to come out oft he season so far so a win tomorrow, get players back to full fitness and i think we could keep up a good play off challenge

    i see what you mean but wouldnt a few games in january for us so he cane prove himself with the option for them to sign him permanantly at the end of the month benfit both us and him?

    rochdale or accrington. i know someone who goes to their games when latics are away and ive been along to dale on a few occasions. both great clubs and rochdale especially should definately be in a higher position than they are

    first team to play on plastic? or is that too obvious?

    probably the cup. a good performance infront of a bigger audience may attract more fans to BP to help us in the league and a good cup run never hurt anyone. i dont think promotion or relegation will happen this season so lets do something to remember it by - a cup run

    its alright for some. the only way i could see the match was on itv on the sunday afternoon. will the game be avaliable to watch afterwards in full?

    when people are saying sheehan do they mean the one we have now from leeds? i wasnt a latics fan during the big years so i cant comment on who id have up until recent years. id go for: pogliacomi eardley haining gregan bertrand? taylor kilkenny wellens eyres porter beckett didnt turn out quite as well as id anticipated

    Smalley the official website says smalley will play some part in tonights reserve game. it can only be good (unless he gets injured) as we get more players back.

    ESPN? they seem to have bought most of setantas other games.

    if we get the tv then maybe that would make up for it. im still unsure though because the other 'big' clubs in league one are away to non league so they might go for that. i agree with opinions4u, when you say its about the money. more viewers for itv and with norwich/charlton, youre most likely to see a mauling

    how many ties are televised? if setanta have gone bust do espn get the rights or do itv? if it's three then id fancy us for tv but if it is less then charlton and norwich have non-league away ties so they would obviously get the cameras.

    an artificial pitch would be a good advantage at home but you play half of your games away from home on grass pitches so they would have to train on both and switch from how to play on each surface.

    i think if we can, we should try to keep sheehan. he links up well and he can cross a ball. not heard of the hills guy but i agree with roboafc, we dont need another left back

    im all for a better atmosphere but can someone answer me this - why do the latics fans in the rocky road end only make noise right after we concede?

    Alan Pardew interview on the saints site. he was very complimentary of latics and he took the positives out of our game rather than the negatives. i admit, i wasnt best pleased with our performance but i think, after reading this, he's summed it up quite well in a non-biased way
