i think you're spot on there. norwich will either be runaway leaders and the team to beat or theyll do a leeds without the deduction

wouldnt it make sense to put the away fans in the chaddy end? i know its traditionally the home end but let them have the poles and us the best stand in the ground. there would be a few logistics but maybe it could be trialled for a game?

with the new season approaching, i was wondering how people think we'll do. there are mixed expectations with some saying we will get promotion, some play-offs, some mid-table and a few relegation. my prediction is 9th and we can build on that for next season. also, ive only been to the sunderland friendly (which was probably the wrong one performance wise) and despite the loss and mistakes, i was happy with the team and the players we have brought in. (im undecided over brill) we definately need centre back and keeper cover and then we should have a good squad for hopefully a good season.

latics will do a classic latics and start promisingly and then build up a good and deserved position and then slide down at the last minute and missout on the playoffs again. i say 9th. also, i got the fourfourtwo magazine yesterday and the supplement was a look at the new season. they think we'll finish 14th (brentford and gillingham will be 3rd and 6th, norwich and charlton will be midtable and the best one of all, leeds will win the league!)

maybe penney knows of blackppols interest and is trying to warn them off. i think he will go though, because of the full backs we have signed

same for me but i can see goals coming from all over the team. if parker can do free-kicks, he'll do ok and i think abbott and taylor will get a fair few.

hopefully he will get some proper match practice instead of the odd sub appearance and come back stronger for us

i started to watch the milk cup the other day but turned it off after about 30 seconds becuase one of the commentators said 'the players didnt shake hands, however, because of the swine flu scare'

he goes on to say something like 'i dont think ill see many thomas-moore shirsts around' correct me if im wrong but has anyone ever seen a 'moore' shirt? (apart from on his back?)

it would make sense as coventry have just sold their decent full-back. mind you though, he didnt play like he was on the way out today

to me he seems like a great manager at this level. it is whether he can take it that one step further. i think we like penney becuas ehe is good in his interviews and sheridan was never good at the press side of his job. one last thing is when i was at the game today, he kept shouting 'GET OUT!' when the ball was cleared. shows his intent on attacking play.

so was i, definately worth at least an enquiry. he would give some league one strikers a bad afternoon.

i think penney has planned this. he has quietly gone about bringing in good players he knows can do the job at this level with no big names. if all of these players gel well then you never know, we could be the surprise package this season. as for steer and this lad from afc liverpool, good signings and i look forward to seeing them this afternoon.

this stadium looks really good. if we can get something like this, people will start to think we're ambitious and going places. it looks intimidating but the concerns i would have is where is the room to expand and where would they fit an extra thousand or two to fit the promised 12,000 seats?

i would have thought someone else would have got the captaincy this season but as long as he keeps his cool, he should do alright. who is the vice captian though?

they have to get a new tannoy system. when i sat in the new start mortgages? paddock it was inaudible. it isnt much better in the main stand paddock.

bradford park avenue?! surely this has got to be fitness wise becuase he is a good league one/two player and if he stayed at bradford PA, i would be very surprised.
