  1. If we're not going to win it, better to go out first round. Get a result against Bradford and this result will be forgotten.
  2. Tranmere's last two results were a 2-1 defeat at Altrincham and a 2-0 defeat at home to Boreham Wood.
  3. Bloody hell, it wasn't a classic but we won! The original game plan seemed to go after Cassidy went off, so we ground out the win. Had a decent period in the second half where we put a few moves together and croft should have scored. Some people like moaning for the sake of it.
  4. To be fair to him, Boro targeted him all game, and he was never going to manage against their attack. He had a bad game, but Brown wouldn't have done any better.
  5. Audience aside, I preferred it to the FLS. If they fine-tune it and improve it in the next few weeks, then it could be quite good.
  6. It left them needing to beat Wolves at Molineux on the last day.
  7. He's one of the contenders for Greater Manchester Mayor I think.
  8. Apparently Rochdale United sell their ticket for £277.50...
  9. Is it just me that thinks the sports direct logo wouldn't look too bad on the new kit? The new logo just seems a bit tacky being blue on blue. I'd imagine it is just me...
  10. Portsmouth's effort. Do sondico only make XL shirts for photoshoots? Ours and Pompey's pictures look like the players are wearing shirts 2 sizes too big.
  11. If it could be taken between the new stand and RRE, it could go along both? Definitely think the 'Flying High Up In The Sky' is the better option, it's more positive and could actually be sung.
  12. It was definitely Croft who span Osman and ran down the right for the first goal. Speaking of shots that didn't quite make it on target, his 'shot' against Liverpool was a perfect ball to M'Changama who crossed in for Smith's first goal.
  13. Can't clubs prevent a manager's new club from raiding the club in the next transfer window? If Johnson wants Kelly, I'm guessing Latics didn't include a clause like that.
  14. If Kelly's looking for a RWB, he could do a lot worse than Wabara. Still think Connor Brown deserves a go at it first.
  15. Agree, he took us seriously in all the games. Glad I got to see him play and also score one of the best penalties I've ever seen in the 5-1 game - couldn't get more top corner than that.
  16. Think Brown could do a job at RWB, he likes getting forward and is often caught out in defence, so pushing him a bit further up might work. He'd be a decent back up if Kelly wanted to get a new player in. Is Brian Wilson here for another year?
  17. Aside from the obvious... Barnsley away. Worst game of football I've seen in a long time. Worse than Yeovil and Preston at home for me, because we were beaten by better teams then, but Barnsley were just as :censored: as us that night. God knows why they wanted Johnson after that performance.
  18. Don't know if theyre out of contract but Orient have a few decent players that won't want to play in League Two. I'd love Dean Cox or Chris Dagnall.
  19. If anyone has a spare five minutes, could you help me out by completing a survey looking at attitudes to different accents as part of my English Language and Linguistics course at the University of Sheffield? Thanks in advance. http://goo.gl/forms/CaiEUbeFAU
  20. Shame Notts County have gone down. Got family who support them and their fans are a good lot, just let down by :censored: manager after :censored: manager. A club with their fanbase and stadium should be looking up to the Championship. As a team though, they're pretty awful by all accounts. Hate MK Dons but glad we don't have to play them next year. Not looking forward to Claridge creaming himself over them on FLS tonight though. With the record Preston have in the play-offs we might be adding them to the northern L1 next year. I'd be impressed if that team manages to cock it up though.
  21. We appointed Johnson and Dickov with no experience and they were both promising, but they both took at least a season of mediocrity to get going. If we appointed this fella we'd be giving him next season to learn the job and hopefully stay up. Everything positive the club are trying to generate about the new stand would be pointless if they appointed him. Dowie wouldn't be perfect but at least he'd know what he was doing. If they're going to go for inexperience, they may as well give the job to Holden, who's had a few months head start of being mediocre.
